Teaching steps:
Step1 leading in
1. At first greet the students.
2. Ask the students to look at the screen. Show students some pictures, and ask them to talk about these pictures.
Step2 Presentation
1. Ask students to look at the first picture, rubbish everywhere. Lead to some new words. Through these pictures, lead students to know that our earth is polluted badly, if we do not take action now, our earth will disappear.
2. Do activity 1a.
Here are some words related to different kinds of pollution. Write them in the box below.
Ask students work in pairs to finish 1a.
Step3 listening
1. Ask students to look through the listening material. When listen it for the first time, students only listen.
2. Listen it again, students finish the blanks.
3. Listen it for the last time, students check answers together.
4. Ask some students to read their own answers. If have any mistakes, other students should correct it.
Step4 Competition
After learning these language points, some students have known the condition of our earth. If we want to save our earth, what can we do Ask students to come up with some good ideas, and I will divide students into two groups to have a competition.
Step5 Revision
Ask students to summarize the language points in this class, and know how to use the sentence structure we have learned in the class.
