1.Design ideas
In this teaching period, I choose the part of how to make students’ compositions enrich and stronger. From comparing compositions to let students realize the differences and find out what the differences are by students themselves, to let them know there are some structures in the composition, the beginning, the middle and the end. And also know we should use some ways to have the better compositions, such as exclamatory, phrases, using all kinds of clauses. And encourage students to use these ways to polish their compositions.

Step1:Free-talkLead Ss to talk about their unforgettable experiences and people.purpose:The activity not only can arouse students but also can let them recall the theme of the writing which they wrote. Step 2:PresentationTask 1: Show a very simple and common composition to students and ask:What do you think of it Task 2: Show another composition and ask student to compare them, find out the differences and the teacher which one is better and why. Read the good sentencesTask 3: Ask students to sum the ways of writing and then to polish their compositions.Purpose:By comparing and thinking, they know that when they write a composition, they should have the beginning, the body and the ending in their compositions. Also, They can make their compositions better and better.Step 3:ConsolidationTry to polish their composition again and discuss with partners to make better.Purpose:Through checking once again to think back the skills they have gotten in the lesson, they would technically master the good ways to write.Step 4:Show timeTo share the better writing in groups and in class.Purpose:To share is to improve.Step 5:SummarySum up the writing skills.Purpose:Let students to make sense what they have learnt.
