as作介词时意思为“作为，像，如同”
例：French is known as the most beautiful language in the world.

as作副词的意思是：“相同地，同样地”
例：The don’t have as many airplans.

1. 引导状语从句（表时间，原因，让步，方式，比较）
1. AS引导时间状语从句 “当……时候”

2.AS引导原因状语从句 “因为”
As rain has fallen ,the air is cooler.

As作关系代词引导定语从句
As做关系代词既可以引导限制性定语从句也可以引导非限制性定语从句
指代人，物；充当主，宾，表
一.As做关系代词引导限制性定语从句
主句部分需出现 such/the same/so/as 这样的词与之构成 such……as , the same as， as……as 的结构
例：We have found such books as are used in their school.
This book is not such as I expected.
一. As做关系代词引导非限制性定语从句
As 指代部分或整个主句放在主句 前，中，后
例：As we all know , the earth moves around the sun.
This town,as we all konw,has only oen industry.
She has married again,as was expected.
