OBJECTIVES 学习目标
1 掌握同级比较和异级比较句式的相互转换。
2 掌握最高级和比较级句式之间的相互转换。
同级比较和异级比较的转换
对于-est结尾的形容词最高级:
Judy is as smart as any other girl in the class. (结果对等)
1 No other girl in the class is as smart as Judy. (结果不对等)
2 Judy is smarter than any other girl in the class.
3 Judy is the smartest girl in the class.
句子1,2,3通过不同的表达方式实现了同义转换,1-2是同级比较
到异级比较的转换,2-3是异级比较之间的转换。
注意:any girl 表示“任何女孩”,any other girl 表示“任何其他的女
孩”,因为“任何女孩”也包括了Judy,Judy跟Judy自己比较就没有任
何意义,所以比较对象必须要把Judy本人排除在外。
同级比较和异级比较的转换
对于+the most的形容词最高级:
Time is as important as any other thing in the world.(结果对等)
1 No other thing in the world is as important as time.(结果不对等)
2 =Time is more important than any other thing in the world.
3 =Time is the most important thing in the world.
