Adverbs
An adverb is a word that describes or modifies a verb, an adjective or another adverb.
副词用来描述或修饰形容词，动词或另一个副词。
1 Bill Gates is a hugely successful man.
副词hugely修饰其后的形容词successful, 非常地成功。
2 Bill Gates speaks English fluently.
副词fluently修饰其前的动词speak, 说得很流利。
3 Bill Gates speaks English very fluently.
副词very修饰其后的副词fluently, 非常地流利。
Adverbs
中英文对比
1 比尔盖茨是一个成功的人。
“成功的”就是形容词，位于所修饰的名词“人”前面。
2 比尔盖茨的英语说得流利。/ 比尔盖茨流利地说英语。
“流利”就是副词，要么位于“得”后面，要么位于“地”前面，即围绕在所修饰的动
词“说”的前后。
3 比尔盖茨的英语说得很流利。
“很”就是副词，位于所修饰的另一个副词“流利”前面。
总结：凡是看到中文“的”前面的词语，对应英文的“形容词”；凡是看到“地”前面
或“得”后面的词语，对应英文的“副词”。
