= It’s time to have lunch. 是时候吃午餐了。
It’s time for + n. (名词)
= It’s time to + v.原 (动词原形)

(1) smell是感官系动词，后面一般接形容词。
(2) 感官系动词有：smell / look / taste / sound / feel + adj.
由于句中的it是第三人称单数, 系动词smell要加s，变成第三人称
单数形式。
