教学目标
1. To remember new words to describe Robinson Crusoe.
2. To understand the plots about the novel.
3. To retell the passage clearly in their own words.
4. To understand the Present Perfect and the Attributive Clauses.

教学思路
本篇阅读课是一部流传很广影响很大的文学名著的一部分。 作者用生动逼真的细节把虚构的情景写得使人如同身临其境,使故事具有强烈的真实感。我们从鲁滨逊的身上学到了乐观积极和勇敢坚强的精神,通过学习这篇阅读课文,让学生学会复述原文。并通过阅读学习新词汇和新句型,而且要引导学生发现并学习鲁滨逊这种不畏艰苦和勇往直前的精神。本课趣味性强,增加了学生的阅读兴趣。
教学过程
Step 1 Greeting
Greet the class and check the homework
Step 2 Review
Review phrases learnt in the last lesson.

Step 3 Preview
1.To be familiar with the words of page122.
1. To know the story Robinson Crusoe.
2. To try to retell the story in students’ own words.
3. To find new phrases from the passage.
Step 4 lead-in
Talk about Robinson.
(Robinson is a brave man. Do you want to be a man like him If you are on the island by yourself, what will you do at first How will you make your clothes How will you make food for yourself )
Step 5 Presentation
1. Watch a video about Robinson Crusoe.
Talk about what happened to Robinson.
Talk about what students can do if they are in danger.
Present the new lesson Robinson Crusoe by showing the picture of the text. And talk about what happened in the picture.
2. Task1:First ask the students two easy questions and let the students answer them after listening to the tape. (Books closed)
(Play the tape with the following questions on the big screen by the computer. )

Task2: Ask the students to read the passage quickly and answer the question: What’s the main idea of the text
Task3: Let the students read again the text carefully and find some important details in the text, and then answer the following questions.

3. How did Robinson build his house
4. Did Friday make a boat
5. Did Robinson have a gun
6. What did he eat

3. Practice students’ oral English.

Show some phrases on the screen:
Make a model plane by asking the others:
“Have you… / has he… ”
2. Say the whole sentences:
eg: I have …, and he / she has…
I haven’t…, and he / she haven’t…
(Write them down on the blackboard.)
Say sentences like this one by one.
3. Work in pairs:
Two students work in pairs.

Step 6 Guess and find
Read the passage again and then correct sentences. (Page 59)
