1.整体设计思路、指导依据说明
整体设计思路:围绕快乐这个话题,针对教材以及学生情况,我所设计的教学活动建立在学生非常熟悉的信息基础上,选用悦耳的英文歌曲入手,在交流和合作学习中,延伸学生学习的范围,从而贯彻新目标以学生为主体,学以致用的原则。指导依据说明:体现新课程标准的工具性和人文性的双重属性,在为学生学习英语打好基础的同时,提高语言运用能力,加强对学生综合运用能力的培养。用语言去揭示生活,让语言为我所用。努力给学生搭设一个看、听、说的平台,让英语课堂为全体学生所共享.小组合作学习,分组抢答,优秀评说,个性设计展示等多彩的活动, “强迫”学生抢着说英语。
2.教学背景分析
教学内容分析: 本课的教学内容选自人民教育出版社Go for it (新目标) 九年级Unit11 Sad movies make me cry. Section A(3a-3c)。这是一节阅读课,活动3a-3b分别围绕语篇内容和语言进行设计,3c要求学生在掌握课文内容之后,运用目标语言结构分角色表演该故事。阅读语篇是一个关于寻找幸福的寓言故事,该故事还延续至Section B的听力部分。语言学习依然聚焦在感知和运用事物对人所产生的影响以及相应的情感的表达方式上。本节课为后面的写作环节做铺垫,从而实现阅读服务于写作,写作促进阅读,两者有机结合。学生情况分析:九年级的学生少了一分张扬,多了一份稳重,不爱举手发言的他们不会自然的融入到和老师的对话中,他们更需要任务的驱使来表达自己。因此口语展示、师生对话和小组讨论的设置十分必要。另外,学生们对听英文歌曲、看英文视频等学习方式感兴趣,本节课由学生喜欢的歌曲导入新课,极易激发学生学习英语的兴趣。
3.教学目标分析
Knowledge and ability objectives: Students will be able to learn and retell a story.Students will be able to improve their reading skills, such as skimming and scanningEmotional objectives: Students should understand what is true happiness. Learning strategies:Students should know the story well and they will be able to improve their communicative and cooperative strategies.
4.教学重点、难点分析
教学重点:Students can understand the text, figure out the definition of happiness and retell the story.教学难点:The usage of reading skills.
5.教学过程设计
Step 1:Warm-up and Pre-task. Class begins and greetings.Enjoy music and free talk . (幻灯片 1,2,3)【设计意图】快乐问好。通过学生喜爱的歌曲和话题,拉近与学生的距离,走入本节课英语学习氛围。Learn the new words (幻灯片 4,5,6,7,8)【设计意图】学习新单词,为接下来的阅读做准备。学习单词的过程中,多给学生说话机会,让说英语成为一种自然的习惯,给他们一个口语展示的平台,帮他们建立自信心。 Step 2:While-task Task1: Make a predictionDo you think a king is happy or unhappy (幻灯片 9)【设计意图】让学生猜测故事情节,激发学生阅读兴趣。 Task 2: Fast readingWhen we do some reading, not only words, but also pictures can help us to find out the main idea of the passage. Skim for general information and find the answer.(幻灯片10)【设计意图】让学生从整体感知入手,通过观察图片和快速阅读对语篇的语言和结构有个总体的把握.Task 3: Careful readingPara 1,2(幻灯片 11) 细读3a第一、二自然段,回答下面的问题:(1) What happened to the king __________________________________________________________(2) Can medicine help the king Why or why not __________________________________________________________Language points. (幻灯片 18)【设计意图】根据思维导图,试着复述课文,注意观察文章结构,看看哪组最棒,培养学生的小组合作意识。同时,以各段为单位进行整体阅读教学,让学生理解段落及段落之间的联系,促进对篇章结构及更深层次意义的理解。Task 6: Group work-Role play(幻灯片 19)Role-play the story with your group and imagine an ending【设计意图】复述课文,已对语篇有了整体上的把握,展开讨论,不仅可以活跃课堂气氛,同时还能锻炼学生的思维。以小组为单位,明确任务,这样既能提高全班的参与度,同时还能给学生创造发现和学习他人长处的机会。Step 3 Post-task1.Summary Sum up(幻灯片 20)【设计意图】学生总结本节课学习内容,培养学生归纳总结能力。
