一、教学目标:

2) 能掌握以下句型:

④ Why don’t they just let their kids be kids
2. 情感态度价值观目标:
了解中国及一些其他国家中学生们普通存在的生活及学习上问题,了解别人的生活现状及他们苦恼,知道学习知识是很重要的事情,但它并不是生活的全部。
二、教学重难点
1. 教学重点:
1) 掌握本课时出现的生词及用法。
2) 进行听力训练,提高综合听说能力。
3) 能够针对生活中不同的问题麻烦给予合适的建议。

三、教学过程
Step 1 Lead-in
1. Daily greeting.
2. Enjoy a vedio.
3. Let some Ss give advice according to the problem of the two lovely kids.
Step 2 Warming up
1. Show two pictures.
—What’s wrong with the girl —She has a cold./She’s too stressed out.
—What should she do Can you give her some advice
2. Ask Ss to conclude the ways of giving the advice.
You should go for a walk .

What do you think of going for a walk
Step 3 Task 1 How to relax
1.T: Anyway, when we meet some problems, we should learn to relax, do you think so
2.Here we have more ways to help . let’s go through them.
Step4 Task 2 Order the activities.
1.Now look at the activities again, which one you like to do best, please order one to seven, understand ten seconds
2.Ask volunteers to write the answers on the screen.
T:Different people have different ideas, so just keep your answers!
Step5 Task 3 Group work.(Role-play)
1.Ok ,class, please have a group work now! let’s role play a conversation about the problems you have and the proper advice as well.
Step 6 Introduce the two words before listening.
All right, can you guess who he is Yes ,weiming. But he seems stressed out. Or we can say he is under too much pressure. Let’s see the new word pressure…
Step 7 Listening Practice
Task 4
1. Tell Ss to read the sentences 1c first.
2. Play the recording for the Ss for the first time. and check the problems Wei Ming talks about.
3. Check the answers: (Ask volunteers to read the answers)
Task5
1. Let Ss read the sentences first. Tell Ss to listen again and fill in the blanks.
2. Play the recording again for the Ss to listen and write.
3. Ss listen to the recording carefully and try to write the words in the blanks.
4. Ask volunteers to write the answers on the board.
Step 8 Task 6 Pair work
Show three pictures and ask students to make conversations.
2. Let two students make a model for the Ss.
3. Ss practice their conversations
Step 9 Task 7 Play a game: Rolling Sky
T:There are lots of problems in the clouds,and you have to pass the frog from one to another while I’m clapping my hands.When I stop, the person who gets the frog should give me a piece of advice.
Step 10 Task 8 Finish the exercises.
1.Ask the Ss to write a short passage to give your best friend some advice.
2.Check the answers by the exhibition stand.
Step11 Task 9 Summary
Ask some volunteers to conclude what they have learnt.
