Sue Kangaroo英语绘本教学设计
一.教材分析
该绘本选自牛津分级阅读,对于低段学生阅读长篇的文字,理解深奥的语言存在着相当大的困难。因此,根据四年级学生的学习情况将绘本Sue Kangaroo进行了适当的调整。学生完全可以通过欣赏色彩鲜艳的图片去读懂故事的内容。该阅读材料讲述了Sue kangaroo第一天去学校,遇到新的老师和同学,上了有趣的美术和音乐课以及学习了学校的校规。这样有趣的故事内容足以吸引孩子们的注意,从而激发其阅读的兴趣。绘本内容比较简单,语言结构清晰,为学生们的表达提供支撑。故事情节中出现新授句型Time for… 并且复习了句型I’m... I like... I can draw... I can play...等,为学生运用语言谈论自己的信息奠定了基础。
一、教学目标
1. 初步感知句型,正确朗读、理解句子意思:Time for... I can draw... I can play...
2. 复习句型: I’m... I like... I can... I can’t...
3. 根据图片理解新词,并能根据发音规则,自主认读单词: Sue; Clue; Prue; Lue; kangaroo; moon; balloon; goose; spoon
4. 感知字母及字母发音组合:oo/ue
5. 学生能通过绘本的学习,树立热爱学校,遵守校规的意识。
二、教学重难点
教学重点:理解句型;感知字母组合的发音规律。
教学难点:根据发音,自主认读单词。

(一)读前活动
1.Warm-up

【设计意图】通过与学生的交流,拉近师生间的距离,利用What …do you like 唤醒学生已有的旧知识,为学习新内容做好铺垫。在此基础上,同学之间互相询问,激活其表达的欲望和学习的兴趣。
2.Lead in
Step 1. Enjoy the pictures of Beigang Primary school(PPT背景音)
教师设计语言:
T:I’m from Beigang Primary School. It’s a nice but old school.
Look at my students.
Time for sports. They are running and jumping.
Time for Chinese. They are reading Chinese books.
Time for lunch. They are eating lunch in the classroom.
Time for English. They are reading English story books.
【设计意图】学生欣赏图片,教师用英语解说自己学生的一天。在这个过程中利用新句型套旧短语的方式,做到词不离句,句中有词。这样不仅降低了学生的学习难度,并且在旧知和新知间给学生搭了个梯子,既激发学生的学习兴趣,又使新知识引入的流畅自然。
Step 2. Enjoy the pictures of Maodun Experimental Primary School
教师设计语言:
T: What about your school.

S:Time for Chinese.

【设计意图】根据本节课的需要,教师特意提前拍了学生平时上课,吃饭,运动照片。以自己的学校为话题导入,能够更加贴近学生的生活实际。更大的激发了学生乐于表达的热情。
二、读中活动
1. Riddle and guess
教师设计语言:
T: Let’s read a story. The story is about an animal. It’s from Australia. It can jump. It has a pouch. Baby is in the pouch. Guess,please.
S: kangaroo!
T: Yes, It is a girl kangaroo. What’s her name (PPT呈现Kangaroo的图片和名字)
S: Her name is Sue. (板书Sue)
T: Sue and her mummy are going to school.
【设计意图】Riddle中涉及四年级重点句型“It’s… It can… It has…”。利用趣味性、启发性的谜语不仅能够刺激学生的学习兴趣,而且在揭谜后,让学生了解了故事的主人公,熟悉了人物名称袋鼠Sue.
2. Read and circle the names
教师设计语言:

S: Students and teachers.

S: Teacher is Miss Clue. The girl is Prue. The boy is Lue. (板书Clue, Prue, Lue)
【设计意图】采用任务型教学,让学生带着问题读绘本。同时,学生通过人物的名称找出字母组合ue发音规律,通过语音的渗透,让学生学会利用拼读规则尝试自主拼读单词。
3. Before the class

【设计意图】带领学生读图,寻找细节信息,培养学生读图技巧。随后,PPT展示主要句型:Time for…/I’m… I like… I can…/I can play the…学生不仅回忆了四年级重点句型,也为下一步做好铺垫。同时,通过画画,演奏乐器这一环节,让学生在动中学。学生学习的最终目的是为了运用。在熟练掌握本节课知识的基础上,进行检测输出,通过小组讨论进行绘本表演,既培养学生的语言输出能力,也培养了学生的表达能力,同时也调动了他们的学习积极性。
8. After the class

【设计意图】整个绘本的升华阶段。在此,教师设计了school rules的环节,启发学生对绘本进行深度的挖掘和开采。同时,在教师的引导下通过you can…you can’t之间的对比,让学生更进一步的了解学校的校规,提升品格。这样的引导,让学生感触更深,远比教师直接说几句口号似的句子效果要好得多。
三、读后活动
1. Retell the story
【设计意图】根据黑板思维导图,引导学生复述故事主要内容。
2. Homework:
Read the story nicely.
Tell the story to your parents after class.
【设计意图】语言学习需要课内和课后结合,课内的学习必须要延伸到课外。让课内学习达到事半功倍的效果,从而让学生的语言学校得到可持续发展。
