Analysis of the Teaching materials
This lesson is chosen from the section A of unit 13, Book 9, PEP Junior English. The main task for Students is to understand the text, get some information about sharks and improve reading skills .
And lead students to realize the importance of saving the animals and the environment.
Analysis of learners
The students are in Grade 8 now and studying in a village middle school . Although they have learned English for several years, they don’t have much knowledge about English.They don’t have a big vocabulary. They still feel hard to talk about something in complete sentences, even though students have learned similar passages about endangered animals in the Section B of Unit 5,Book7B and Unit 7,Book 8B.
