Step 1 Lead-in. 1. Have an oral talk with the class. Say I have some hobbies such as swimming, reading books and travelling. Show some pictures on PPT and learn some new words. Step 2 Listening. 1. Look and predict Tony’s family’s collections in A1. Listen and find out what Tony’s family collect. 2. Listen again and answer the questions. What does Tony’s mum want him to do Which hobby does Tony think is expensive 3. Discussion: Which hobby do you think takes up the most place Step 3 Listening and reading. 1. Listen and try to complete the notes about hobbies. Call back answers from the class.
