1.主语从句
主语从句的定义:
在句中充当主语的从句叫做主语从句。
主语
His job is important.
What he does is important.
引导的连接词有从属连词、连接代词和连接副词。

1.陈述句做主语:“that+陈述句”+V+O
That he is a famous singer is known to us.
2.一般疑问句做主语:“whether+陈述句”+V+O
Whether he goes to America is not yet decided.
Does he go to America. It is not yet decided.
3.特殊疑问句做主语:“wh+陈述句”+V+O
Who will chair(主持) the meeting has not been decided.
What he told you is true.

4. 其他连接词引导的表语从句a. as if/as though引导的表语从句as if/as though意为“好像,仿佛”,引导的表语从句常跟在系动词(be,seem, appear, look, taste, sound, feel, smell等)之后。若表语从句所述的是非真实的情况,从句用虚拟语气;(过去had done,现在did/were,将来would/could/might do)若所述的是事实或是极可能发生的情况,从句用陈述语气。例:She loves the boy as if she were his mother.她爱这男孩,就好像她是他的妈妈一样。

注意:
it做形式主语和形式宾语时,一般将替代它的主语从句和表语从句后置。
例1:It is reported that seven people have been seriously injured in the accident.
例2:I leave it to your own judgement whether you should do it.

(2)当一个句子有两个或两个以上并列的宾从时, 第二个及以后的宾从中的that不可省略。

同位语从句就是在复合句中作名词的 的名词性从句。
