Step 1 Greetings
Greet the students as usual.
Step 2 Revision
Check the homework: Ask some students to read their sentences.
Step 3 Pair work
Ask the students to work in pairs to read the passage in 2b again quickly and underline all the superlatives in the passage. Then write sentences using at least four of them after the example in 2d. Get some students to read their sentences.
Step 4 Group work
Ask: Who’s got talent in your class Show some pictures or some short videos of talent shows or sports meeting and ask the students: Look! ... runs so fast! I think he’s the fastest runner in our class. Then help the students to say like this: Look! … is dancing. I think she is the best dancer. Get the students to talk about the pictures like this. Then say: Look at the chart in 2e. add more talents and write a classmate’s name for each talent. Then work in groups and find out how many students in your group agree with you.
Step 5 Reading
