Step1 Lead-in 1. T: Which season do you like best 2. Finish Part B. Write down the answers of some questions about your favorite season. 学生思考自己最喜欢的季节学生完成Part B 部分，有关自己最喜欢的季节的相关知识点
Step2 Presentation1. T: Simon is reading an article about the winter in Harbin on the Internet. 2. Present Ss some pictures about the winter in Harbin3. Read and answer some questions Q1: Which season does the writer like best Q2: Why does the writer like winter Q3: What is the weather like Q4: Can you see beautiful flowers and green trees during this season Q5: What else does the author enjoy in winter Why 4. Play the tape and read after it. 5. Let Ss get the main idea of each paragraph Paragraph 1: the favorite season Paragraph2: the temperature and the weather Paragraph3-4: what they do in the favorite season and why the author like winterSome language points frozen adj. 结冰的 frozen river/lakeIt is exciting to have big snowball fights.It + adj. +to do sth.We throw snowballs at each other, screaming and laughing. throw… to （无感彩） throw… at (带有感彩)screaming 和 laughing 做伴随状语We also make snowmen and use carrots for their nosesuse…for + 名词 use….for +v-ing use …to do sth. 学生看有关于哈尔滨冬天相关的图片学生阅读范文，回答问题学生跟读文章学生总结说出每一段的大意学生学习相关的语言知识点和一些短语
