从学生角度分析为什么难 介词的使用相当频繁,是最难掌握的知识点,by就是其中的一个,它不仅常见,而且词义多,用法广,同学们在学习过程中,常常会分不清,用不准。
难点教学方法 通过情景讲解和chant,感知介词by的不同用法。 通过例句讲解,练习,讨论及问题探究,体会介词by在句子和语境中的使用。

导入 Lead-in Greeting Enjoy a short poem. English is so useful, so we should be good English learners. but how can we become good learners In Unit1,there are many useful studying ways.(show pictures).Yes, I study by making word cards. By doing sth, it’s very important. Do you know other usages of preposition by Oh, great, follow me ,please.
知识讲解 (难点突破) Step 1.Introduce preposition by Step 2.Show the forms of by (The teacher explain the sentences and some useful phrases, focus on the usage of preposition by in different . 1.表示方法,手段、方式,意为“凭借……,靠……,通过……,以……手段,乘坐……” Eg. He makes a living by working as a waiter. I study English by making word cards I will leave for Beijing by air next month. By car/plane/ship/sea/bike/train/taxi…etc 2.表示期限,意为“到……为止,不迟于……,在……之前”等 。 Eg. I will be here by six o’clock. Can you finish the work by tomorrow The little boy had finished the work by the time his mother came back. 用于被动语,后接动作发出者。表示“被… … , 由……”。 Eg. I am reading a novel by Mo Yan.。 English is spoken by many people in the world. 与take,hold等动词连用,表示接触(抓住、握住)身体的某个部位。 Eg. He caught the thief by the hair . The old man took the little girl by the hand. 表示动态位置和静态位置。意为,“路过……、从……旁边经过”,“靠近……、在……旁边”等。 Eg.She walked by me without noticing me. They lived in a hotel by the sea.。 She sat by me. 表示“逐个”、“逐批”的意思,常见于以下短语: one by one —个一个地, little by little 一点一点地,step by step 一步一步地, day by day 日复一日地,这些短语在句中作状语。 Eg. The people got off the bus one by one,after it stopped. When we learn to do something, we must do it step by step. 表示时间、数量、程度等相差或增减的幅度等,意为“到……程度,以……计,以……差”等。 Eg. They won the game by one point. The population of this city increased by 5% last year.。 8.组成其它成语。 (1) by the way意为_‘顺便说一声”、 顺 便 问 一 下 "。常作插入语。 Eg.By the way, can you give me some advice (2)(all) by oneself意为“独自地……"、单独地……”。 Eg.I can do the work by myself. (3)by chance (by accident)意为"偶然地"。 Eg.She found the truth by chance. (4)by and by意为_‘不久以后”、“不一会儿"。 Eg.By and by, we knew each other and made friends with each other. Mickey mouse, Mickey mouse I like watching Mickey mouse Written, written It’s written by Walt Disney Visit, visit I’ll visit Disney land Plane ,plane I’ll travel by plane Never give up ,never give up My dream will be come true, come true Super, super, we’re super. (First the teacher give an example, then let the students do it with music. If the time is enough, they can do it in groups more and more quickly.)
