教材分析 本模块第一单元的对话是关于如何做急救的。对话中营造的场景自然地导入了must, can, could表示推测的用法以及祈使句的肯定式和否定式。了解一些实用的急救方法不仅可以帮助学生在关键时刻自救,而且还能提高其救助他人的意识和能力。
课时教学目标 1. Language knowledge语言知识目标:To understand the meaning and usage of these vocabularies and structures by listening and speaking practice.Key vocabulary: broken, glass, medical, imagine, bottom, at the bottom of..., What's wrong with... trouble, lift, lift up, drop, make sure.2) Key structures: But he could have trouble hearing you or speaking to you. No, that could be harmful. Betty, you must know!2. Language skills语言技能目标: 1)To understand the conversation in relation to accidents. 2)To get specific information from the listening material. 3) To talk about and understand the imperative sentences.3. Step 1 Warming up, word-study and lead-in Warming up
Let the students look at the pictures and talk about what happen in the pictures. Watch some pictures of accidents and discuss what was happening in the pictures. 让学生快速进入话题,并对课文产生兴趣。
Brain-storming
Ask students to have a quiz: Tell us the treatment mentioned is true or false. Have a quiz:Is the treatment true or false 激活学生的相关知识,引出本课重点单词和内容。
Word study
Teach students new words by showing pictures: Read out the words as fast as possible. Learn some new words by reading out the words. 让学生在情景和句子中学会应用新单词。
Lead-in
Let students watch the pictures again and discuss with partner: Talk about the pictures. Use the words we have just learned to help you. Work in pairs. Talk about the pictures.Use the words we have just learned to help. 让学生熟悉单词并且借助图片引导学生学习本课课文。
Step 2Listeningpractice Listening Task 1: Listen and choose the best answer

Step 4 Speaking and presentation Help students make a conversation about first aid according to the picture. Make a new conversation in groups according to the picture. 培养学生的小组合作学习能力,团队沟通协作能力。让学生积极参与小组讨论,并在互助学习中学会用所学知识谈论急救。
Step 5Consolidation Get the students consolidate what we have learnt today by doing exercise. 1. Consolidate the useful words by completing the sentences on P97-4.2.Consolidate the language points by translating the useful expressions. 巩固本课所学的语言知识重点。
