教材分析 本课内容为八年级上册的第十二个模块的第三单元。这一模块的语法知识主要是祈使句的用法和情态动词can, could, must表示猜测的用法。结合本模块所学语言知识培养学生的综合能力。
课时教学目标 1. Language knowledge语言知识目标：To summarize and consolidate the use of modal verbs — must, can, could (for prediction).2. Language skills语言技能目标：1) To make Ss learn about the accidents and how to deal with the harmful accidents to save their lives.2) To write instructions on self-protection in disasters or accidents.3. Learning strategies学习策略：1) To know about the language points by observing and the key structures.2) To learn from each other during the co-operation.4. Culture awareness文化意识： To know how to give first aid.5. Emotional attitude情感态度： 1) To know how to give first aid. 2) To help others in an emergency. 3) To work with others.

Let the students read sentences. Read the sentences and pay attention to the words in red. 让学生通过读句子快速进入课堂状态，并先整体感受学习内容。
Task 2: Grammar
1. Ask students to observe the sentences and find out the rules.2. Explain the using of imperative sentences in detail and give some example.3.
