知识点01Eat your breakfast, or you will get hungry at school. 吃早餐，否则你在学校挨饿的。
【考点1】本句使用句型“祈使句+and/or+陈述句”，祈使句是陈述的条件，and意为“那么”，or意为“否则”。如：
Give me one more hour, and I’ll get the work finished. 再给我一个小时，我就会完成这项工作。
Hurry up, or you’ll miss the meeting. 如果你不快点，你就会错过会议。
知识点02What’s up 怎么了？
【考点2】What’s up 怎么了？通常用于口语中，相当于“What’s the matter ”。如：
---- What’s up 怎么了？---- I can’t pass my exam. 我不能通过考试。
知识点03She refused to let me wear them, because she bought them for her sixteenth birthday party. 她拒绝让我试穿她的新鞋，因为这双鞋是她买来打算16岁生日宴会穿的。
【考点3】refuse to do sth. 意为“拒绝去做某事”，refuse是动词，意为“拒绝”，后常接名词、代词或动词不定式作宾语。如：
He refused their help. 他拒绝他们的帮助。
I refused to buy those things. 我拒绝买那些东西。
Did you refused to go to Lily’s birthday party 你拒绝参加莉莉的生日聚会吗？
知识点04She saved up a lot of money to buy them. 她存了很多钱才买到它们。
【考点4】save up意为“存储，积攒”，是固定短语，save作动词，意为“节约，节省”。如：
We should save up and get a house. 我们应该攒钱来买所房子。
It took me a year to save up for a new coat. 我攒了一年的钱才买了一件新大衣。
You should save up for your college education. 你应该为你的大学教育经费存点钱
知识点05They have warned him about not working hard. 他们警告过他不要不努力学习。
【考点5】warn 是动词，意为“警告，告诫”，其用法如下：
①warn sb. about/of (not) doing sth. 意为“警告某人注意/当心（不要）做某事”。如：
They warned him of the dangers of sailing alone. 他们警告他独自航行的重重危险。
They warned us about the tigers in the forest. 他们警告我们要注意森林中的老虎。
Why don’t you warn him about spending too much time on his guitar 你为什么不警告他他花在弹吉他上的时间太多了呢？
②warn sb. (not) to do sth. 意为“警告某人(不)要做某事”。如：
The police warn us not to go out at night. 警察告诫我们夜间不要出门。
He warned Peter to keep away from his daughter. 他警告彼得离他女儿远点。
③warn sb. against doing sth. 意为“警告某人不要做某事”。如：
He warned me against going there at night. 他警告我晚上不要到那去。
My teacher warned me against being late again. 老师警告我不要再迟到了。
④warn sb.+that 从句。意为“警告某人……”。如：
They warned her that she would lose her job. 他们警告她说她将丢掉工作。
The whistle warned visitors that the ship was ready to sail. 汽笛通知旅客船即将启航。
条件状语从句
1.定义
连词if的意思是“如果”，它引导的句子表示某事发生所需要的条件，即“在……条件下某事才能发生”，在句子
中充当状语，因此我们称之为条件状语从句。在复合句中连词if引导的句子为从句，被修饰的句子为主句。
从句可以放在主句后，也可以放在主句前，从句放在主句前时，应用逗号将它与主句隔开。如：
We’ll go to the Great Wall if it doesn’t rain tomorrow.
=If it doesn’t rain tomorrow, we’ll go to the Great Wall.
如果明天不下雨，我们就去长城。
2.用法
1. 条件状语从句通常由连词if引导“如果，加入”，主句不能用be going to表示将来，而应该用shall, will。
如：If I’m free tomorrow, I’ll go with you.
如果我明天有空，我将会和你一起去。
2. if引导的条件状语从句，主句用一般将来时，从句则用一般现在时，即“主将从现”。如：
If it doesn’t rain tomorrow, I’ll go with you.
如果明天不下雨，我将去爬山。
除此以外，从句为一般现在时，主句还可以用祈使句或包含由情态动词的句子。
If you have any problem with your study, ask me for help.
如果你学习有问题，向我求助。
If you are not careful enough, you may make the same mistake again.
如果你不够认真，你可能犯同样的错误。
3. if引导的条件状语从句可以转换成“祈使句 + and (or)+ 陈述句”。
If you work hard, you will pass the final examination.
=Work hard, and you will pass the final examination.
=Work hard, or you won't pass the final examination.
如果你努力学习，你就可以通过期末考试。
