【考点1】【辨析】borrow,lend与keep的用法辨析:
①borrow意为“借;借用”,强调“借入”。表示主语向别人借东西,是短暂性动词,常用短语为borrow sth. from sb./sp.意为“从某人/某地借来某物”。如:
I borrowed a book from the library yesterday. 昨天我从图书馆借了一本书。
I borrowed this dictionary from my teacher yesterday. 我昨天从老师那里借来这本字典。
②lend意为“借出”,表示主语把东西借给别人,是短暂性动词,不能和表示一段时间的状语连用,常用于结构lend sth. to sb.或lend sb. sth.。如:
Tom lent his book to me last month. 上个月汤姆把书借给了我。
Can you lend your bike to me =Can you lend me your bike 你能把你的自行车借给我吗?
③keep意为“借,保存”,是延续性动词,常表示“借某物多长时间”,与表示一段时间的短语或与疑问短语how long连用。如:
You can only keep my CD for three days. 我的CD 你只能借用三天。
---- How long can I keep the book 我可以借这本书多久?---- You can keep it for two weeks. 你可以借这本书两周。

【考点2】此句为一般将来时的被动语态。结构为:will+be+及物动词的过去分词。如:
A lot of trees will be planted this spring. 今年春天许多树将被种植。
He says his work will not be finished in two hours. 他说他的工作将不能在两小时内被完成。
【考点3】put up意为“挂起;张贴;公布;举起;升起;建立;搭起;抬起”等,是由“动词+副词”构成的短语,代词作宾语时,须放在动词和副词之间。与put有关的常用搭配:put away放好;整理好;put on穿上;戴上;上演;put off推迟;put down记下;镇压;put out扑灭。如:
Can you help me put it up on the wall 你能帮我把它贴在墙上吗?
The exam results will be put up on Friday. 这次考试成绩将于周五公布。

知识点03And they can be seen on the Internet by other classes, even people living in other countries. 其他班的同学,甚至生活在其他国家的人,都能在网上看到这些照片。
【考点4】本句是含有情态动词can的被动语态。含有情态动词的被动语态的结构为“主语+情态动词can/may/must等+be+及物动词的过去分词”。其否定式在情态动词后加not。如:
The exercises may be done tomorrow. 练习可以明天做。
The trees must be planted in spring. 树木必须在春天栽种。
The radio can’t be fixed in four hours. 这个收音机在四个小时内修不好。
【考点5】living in other countries 是现在分词短语作后置定语,相当于一个定语从句who are living in other countries。现在分词与其所修饰的名词有逻辑上的主谓关系。如:
Did you tell the children playing there not to make so much noise 你告诉在那边玩的孩子们不要那么吵了吗?
The woman holding a baby in her arms is waiting to see the doctor. 怀里抱着个婴儿的那个妇女正在等着看病。
知识点04When I was at school, we waited for weeks to hear from our pen friends abroad. 我上学的时候,我们要等上好几周才能收到国外笔友的来信。
【考点6】hear from sb.意为“收到某人的来信”,后接表示人的名词或代词,相当于get / receive a letter from sb.。注意hear后面不能再跟名词letter, email等。如:
I heard from my uncle last week. 上周我收到了叔叔的来信。
I heard from my sister yesterday.=I got/received a letter from my sister yesterday. 昨天我收到我姐姐的来信。
知识点05Some are huge ones with thousands of pages. 有些书甚至有几千页厚。
【考点7】thousands of 意为“成千上万的;数以千计的”,后接可数名词复数,表示概数,不能和数词连用。如:
Thousands of birds fly back to the north in spring. 成千上万的鸟儿在春天飞回北方。
Thousands of people lost their homes in the Ya’an earthquake. 在雅安地震中,成千上万的人失去了他们的家园。
【拓展】英语数量的表达:①表示确数(具体数字):“基数词或several+计数单位(hundred, thousand, million, billion)+名词复数”,意为“几百/千/百万/十亿……”。②表示概数(约数或模糊数字):“计数单位的复数(hundreds, thousands, millions, billions)+of+名词复数”,意为“数百/千/百万/十亿……或成百上千/成千上万/成百万上千万/成十亿上百亿……”。简记为:模糊数字两有(有s,有of;),具体数字两无(无s,无of;)。如:

【考点8】with the invention of the computer意为“随着电脑和电子科技的发明”,为介词短语作原因状语。介词短语作状语的用法很多,可以表示时间、地点、方式、条件、目的、原因等。如:

I have lived in Guilin since 1996. 自从1996年以来我一直住在桂林。(表示时间)

【考点9】full是形容词,意为“满的;充满的”。full可放在be动词后作表语,也可用在名词前作定语,其动词形式为fill“充满”;其反义词为empty“空的”。常用短语:be full of“装满”,相当于be filled with。如:
The theatre was full last night. 剧场昨晚满座。
The cup is full of hot tea.= The cup is filled with hot tea. 杯子里装满了热茶。
【拓展】full还可意为“饱的;吃饱的”,反义词为hungry“饥饿的”。
I can’t eat any more. I’m full. 我不能再吃了,我饱了。

【考点10】【辨析】repair,mend与fix的用法辨析:这三个词都有“修理”之意。但它们也有区别:
①repair是正式用语,常指“修理”构造较复杂或损伤重大的事物(如房屋、机器、汽车、桥梁的修理),有时需多人。有时也可指一般的简单修理。如:
Mary repaired the radio just for the fun of it. 玛丽修理收音机只是为了消遣。
The house must be repaired from top to bottom. 这所房子必须进行彻底地修理。
②mend意为“修补”,多指修补磨损、穿破、撕毁的简单日常用品(如衣袜、钟表、鞋子、自行车等),只需一人。如:
She is mending her shoes. 她正在修理她的鞋子。
Let me mend the gloves for you. 我来给你补手套吧。
③fix侧重于“安装”,有时也用作“修理,修补,挽救”。指让出了差错的东西恢复正常,或使其牢固稳定等,常用短语为fix up意为“修理”。如:
The workers are fixing the machine. 工人们在安装机器。
The broken window need to be fixed. 这个破窗户需要修补。
The rain’s coming. We have to fix the roof. 雨水进来了。我们得把屋顶修理一。
知识点09Where are the instructions 说明书在哪里?
【考点11】instruction作可数名词,意为“指令,命令;指示;教导;用法说明”,作“说明书”使用时,常用其复数形式instructions。如:
Before you take the medicine, read the instructions first. 吃药前,先看说明书。
Read the instructions carefully before you use the machine. 使用这台机器前,仔细阅读说明书。
知识点10It’s a gift from your mum for my birthday, so you must promise that you’ll take good care of it. 因为它是你妈妈送给我的生日礼物,所以你必须保证要保管好它。
【考点12】take good care of …=look after...well意为“好好照顾”。如:
The old lady’s son took good care of her. 这位老太太的儿子把她照顾得很好。

知识点11If you have to lend it to anyone, tell them to use it properly. 如果一定要借给其他人的话,你要告诉他们如何正确使用它。
【考点13】lend作动词,意为“借给”,强调“借出”。常用搭配lend sth. to sb.相当于lend sb. sth.,意为“把某物借给某人”。如:

A recent study from a team of South Korean researchers suggests that eating alone often may lead to poor eating habits and poor food choices. Specifically, the study found that men who ate alone more than twice a week had a greater risk of developing high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes.
For children, eating with their families is not only about preventing bad outcomes(结果)—it is also about developing good ones.
In 2014, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development(OECD) looked at data from nearly three-quarters of the world’s countries.
