Test 1
1.答案与解析:D 根据上文中的“Like a good cheese... with time”和该空前的“also”可知,此处指的是Shitty First Drafts和上文提到的事物一样,都是一个类别。
Shitty First Drafts。refer to“提到;谈及”。

12.答案与解析:A 结合前一句的“As a full time writer”和常识可知,作者得靠文字来养家糊口,且空处与下一句中的“those words”呼应。
13.答案与解析:D 根据空后并列的“I struggle to find my daily rhythm”可知,有时候文字很难推敲。

I've been __1__ for much of my life. I had a plan in my 20's: Finish college, find a job, get married and have a family as soon as possible. I really didn't know much about __2__ then.
compete“竞争,比赛”;respond“反应,回答”;explore“探索”。
