Step 1 Warming-up
1.T plays a video before the class for Ss. Invite students to guess the meaning of the word --quarrel
2.Lead students to discuss the question. Then lead in the question they are going to solve today.
Step 2 Presentation
1.Before- reading
T presents a question and invite students to discuss how to get the main idea of the passage. Then present Tip 1.
While- reading
Invite students to read the passage quickly and match the main idea of each paragraph. Then present Tip 2.
Invite students to read the first paragraph, fill in the blanks. Before students do it, present Tip 3.
Invite students to read the second paragraph, answer the questions.. Before students do it, present Tip 4.
Invite students to read the passage again, finish the task T or F. Before students do it, present Tip 5.
After -reading
Invite students to discuss how to solve our problems.
Step 3 Practice
T present two problems of two students, ask students to work in group and discuss how to help them. Write them down . Then invite some captains of each group to present their solutions.
Step 4 Summary
Teacher helps students to sum up what they have learned today and present the emotional education.
