学情分析
学生在小学和七年级学过一些表示职业的单词: teacher, actor, actress, baseball, basketball player, runner, farmer, musician 等,有一定的基础。每个人都有自己的梦想和对未来的打算,对于将来想要从事的职业也充满了憧憬。通过学习本节课的内容,激发了学生的学习兴趣和积极性,使他们更有理想,并为实现自己的理想而不断努力。
整体设计
【教学目标】
1. 以听力活动的形式对单元话题和句型进行拓展,对如何实现理想的打算也进行扩充,使新句型Where are you going to move/work When are you going to start your dream job 得以实现。
2. 能够熟练掌握下列单词和短语:grow up, computer programmer, cook, doctor, engineer, violin, driver, pilot, pianist, scientist .
3. 能够运用want to be 和be going to句型,如:I want to be a writer. I’m going to keep on writing stories.How are you going to become a... 等谈论他人和自己的人生理想及实现方式。
4. 能够通过学习本课时内容树立为实现人生理想而努力的决心和信心。
【教学重点】
重点:1. 在听力训练中,通过引导学生运用听前预测,记录单词的首字母等听力策略,来提高学生捕捉听力练习中重要信息的能力。
2. 学生对未来的憧憬多种多样,表达时会受到词汇的限制,帮助学生正确运用相关职业的词汇来谈论自己的理想职业,结合be going to, want to be 结构,加强师生、生生对话互动,激发学生英语学习兴趣,提高运用英语的交际能力。
难点:1 掌握一般将来时态的构成形式,了解用一般将来时态表达将要做的事;
2 学习本课时出现的重点句型,通过在不同情景下运用来熟练一般将来时态。
【课前准备】
1整理学生原来学过的职业名词 。
2准备好录音机,制作多媒体课件及学案。

【新课导入】
Step 1 : Lead-in
(1)课前播放一段歌曲,引入本课时话题dream jobs.
(2)猜测游戏,通过看图片,听不同的声音,谈论不同的职业,并引导学生为将来的职业进行计划。
T:What kind of job is it Do you want to be a ... / Are you going to be a...
Step 2 :Listening to 2a-2b
T: Look at the picture. The boy in the picture is Chen Han. What’s he doing He is dreaming about his future. What does he want to be Predict the answer according to the pictures.
Before listening
1 Let students look at the pictures below and explain the activities in the pictures if necessary.
2 Let students read the chart below.Tell students that they’ll listen to Chen Han’s plan for the future.They should answer the questions :
“What” means “What is Cheng Han going to be ”
“Where”means “Where is Cheng Han going to work ”
“How”means “How is he going to do it ”
“When”means “When is he going to start ”
Play the recording for the students and check the correct boxes in the picture.
While listening
1. Play the recording for the first time and get students to listen to 2a and check the correct boxes in the picture.
Suggested answer :Chen Han is going to be a teacher.
2. Play the recording for the second time and get students to listen to 2b and complete the chart.
Suggested answers:
What Cheng Han is going to be a teacher.
Where He is going to move to Shanghai.
HOW He is going to learn how to teach children.
When He is going to finish high school and college first.
3.Check the answers.
4.Play the recording for the third time and get students to listen and repeat .Focus students’ attention on the pronunciation and intonation.

Step 3 :Presentation; 呈现听力中出现的新句型:
-Where are you going to move
-I’m going to move to Shanghai.
T: Chen Han is going to finish high school and college. How about you Are you going to college Are you going to Shanghai Where are you going to study
听对话,捕捉并记录相关重要信息。
T: Besides going to college, Chen Han has other plans for the future. What’s his plan We’ll listen to the tape. But before listening, can you tell me what these four words mean
结合2c中的句型,用对话的形式核对2b的答案。如:
S1: What does Chen Han want to be when he grows up
S2: He wants to be a teacher.
S1: Where is he going to move
S2: He’s going to move to Shanghai.
S1: How is he going to become a teacher
S2: He’s going to learn how to teach children.
S1: When is he going to start
S2: He’s going to finish high school and college first.
(5)进行pair work 对听力中的关键句型进行巩固和操练。
【对话表演】

Step 4 : Role play the conversation in 2d;对话表演
(1)教师提问是否有学生喜欢看文学作品或小说、故事书,是否有学生愿意以后当一名作家。以此引出对话内容,然后让学生了解What book is Ken reading Who is the author
T: Do you always read books after class Do you want to be a writer The boy named Ken likes reading very much. From the conversation between Ken and his friend Andy, we can know what book he is reading.
(2)带着这两个问题What does Ken want to be What does Andy want to be 听读2d对话,并回答这两个问题。
T: Listen to the tape and read the conversation silently to get the answers to these two questions.
Maybe many of you are like Andy, you are not sure about your future. I think
you just follow your interest and make sure try your best, you can be anyone you want, you can get any job you want.
(3)再次大声跟读对话并回答问题Why is Ken so good at writing stories 最后让学生讨论对这句话的理解Just make sure you try your best. Then you can be anything you want!
(4)学生分角色自由朗读对话,并请一组同学展示。
(5)引导学生计划自己的未来,并以2d对话为模板编自己的对话谈论将来的理想,老师和一个同学做示范。最后请几组学生在班上展示、表演对话。
【回顾总结】
Step 5 ; (1)Homework: 1.Read the conversation in 2d after the tape for two times.
2.Write down the conversation you made with your partner.
3.Borrow the book The Old Man and the Sea from library and read it after class.
(2)回顾本课所学内容,教学归纳和总结。
(3)鼓励学生为实现自己的理想而努力。。
T: Today we learned how to communicate with others about our future plans by using what/where/when/how with the structure be going to and also get some listening strategies to write down long sentences during listening. Finally, we get to know if you try his best, you can be anyone you want!

教学反思
本课主要学习了职业名称和谈论对有关职业的将来规划。在教学中,通过呈现图片,生动直观地向同学们介绍了各种表示职业的词汇,同时呈现了重点句型和be going to 结构,利用重点句型练习了职业名词听力的输入,由易到难为后来的Role –play进行了充分的铺垫。整个过程是听说读写四个步骤,一环套一环,环环相扣。不足之处是由于时间的关系,有些地方没有尽情地展开。所以,虽然调动了学生的积极性,却没有让广大的学生充分的参与。
