一、教学目标:
1. 语言知识目标
1) 掌握比较级的变化规则:
①一般情况直接加er;
②辅音字母加y结尾,把y变i再加er;
③以字母e结尾,直接加r;
④重读闭音节,双写尾字母再加er;
⑤多音节和部分双音节,其前加more;
⑥不规则变化;
2)能掌握表达朋友间相同点和不同点的句型:

能够用所学的句型去进行写作,描述朋友间的相同点和不同点。同时,引导学生在写作过程中,重视文章的写作结构。
3. 情感态度价值观目标
通过讨论朋友间的差异与相似处,让学生知道如何结识真正的朋友,什么是真正的朋友。同时,了解到友谊的重要性。
二、教学重难点
1. 教学重点:
1) 用所学句型去讨论朋友间的相同点和不同点。
2) 了解作文的基本写作结构。
2. 教学难点:
1)如何引导学生去用所学过的句型去表达相同点和不同点。
2) 怎么去评价一篇作文。
三、教学过程
Ⅰ. Game
Play a game about the comparative rules. First, ask six boys as the rule trees. Then hand out some cards with different adjectives. Then put each card up to the correct tree.
Like: many-more; outgoing- more outgoing; cute- cuter; funny- funnier; thin- thinner; smart- smarter
Ⅱ. Lead-in
Use a popular game show to make students compare the members. Students use the similar sentences to describe them.
e.g. Li Chen is taller than Wang Zulan.
Ⅲ. Pair-work
1. Introduce the two popular students in the class. Then, ask all the students to compare the two students.
2. Write down the sentences on the blackboard. And guide them to know how to describe others. They can talk about their appearances, personalities and hobbies.
3. After that, let the students to pay attention to all the sentences on the blackboard. And fine the differences and similarities between the two students.
Similarities: Both of them are popular. / They are both smart. …
Differences: Huang is shorter than Wang. / Wang isn’t as smart as Huang. …
Ⅳ. Sentence patterns
Show the good sentences about similarities and differences. And make some sentences with students.
Ask students to choose a friend and write down a sentence about their similarity and difference on the card. Then choose some good sentences from them and put them up.

Ⅴ. Writing
1. Show the writing topic “My Best Friend”. And guide the students to pay attention to the structure of this article and use the good sentences to describe the similarities and differences. And they can also use some saying about friends in their articles.
2. Ask all the students to write their own article in class. And show two articles to all the students.
Ⅵ. Group work
1. Ask each group to exchange their articles and help their partner to correct the article.
2. Show how to correct the article on the blackboard.
①. The first paragraph: introduce your friend;
②. The second paragraph: find three or four similarities and differences between friends;
③. Good hand-writing;
④. Grammar mistakes;
3. Show two Students’ articles on the blackboard and discuss which is a better article with students.
Ⅶ.总结
Ask students about four questions to make them review what they have learnt in this class.

Homework:
Ask each group to find the good sentences in their articles. And write down these sentences together.
