In Auckland, the students from Deep Green Bush School are having a class. The weather is fine, so they will go fishing later. After that, they will eat lunch cooked on an open fire. They have no homework at the end of the day.
"We are called a school, but we look nothing like other schools out there," says Joey Moncarz, the head teacher of Deep Green Bush School. "We don't do things like telling kids it is time to learn or practise math. When they are interested in doing it, they will do it."
