教材分析 本模块的教学内容是谈论意愿,并简单介绍某景点或城市的特征。第一单元是Daming, Simon和Simon’s dad参观联合国;第二单元是Smart一家在讨论去中国旅游。本模块的主要任务是学会调查他人的意愿,学习重点是通过谈论意愿复习一般现在时的用法。
模块教学目标 一、知识目标1. 掌握本模块的单词、短语:around, all around, member state, inside, should 2. 掌握本模块目标句型:Do you want to visit the UN building in New York Yes, we do. I want to show Daming one of the presents from China. OK! I want to go to Shanghai. Shanghai is very big and very famous. 二、能力目标能用所学句型询问并介绍他人的意愿。三、情感目标培养学生乐于接触外国文化的意识,增强学生热爱祖国的意识。
教学重点及难点 1. 掌握本模块的重点单词、短语和目标语句。2. 学生能运用已学语言谈论意愿;能简单介绍某景点或城市的特征。
教学辅助 OHP、课文动画及相关视频、单词卡片等
教学策略 尝试阅读英语故事及其他英语课外读物。
教学过程
Unit 1:第一课时教学设计
教材分析 第一单元的课文情景是Simon的爸爸带着Simon和Daming参观联合国大厦。Daming发现联合国大厦非常雄伟,大厦前飘扬着各会员国的国旗,其中也包括中国。Simon的爸爸告诉他们,联合国现在有193个会员国。进入大厦后, Simon带Daming去看了中国送给联合国的礼物——成昆铁路的象牙雕塑,上面还有一列火车,Daming想为这美丽的雕塑拍照留念。
课时教学目标 一、知识目标1. 掌握本课单词、短语:around, all around, member state, inside2. 掌握本课目标句型:Do you want to visit the UN building in New York Yes, we do. I want to show Daming one of the presents from China. OK!二、能力目标能运用所学语言谈论意愿。 三、情感目标:培养学生热爱和平生活,反对战争的情感。
教学重点与难点 重点:能运用Do you want ... 句式进行问答,并能在实际情景中运用。难点:表述某人想做某事会用want to do这一结构。
教学辅助 OHP, video, word cards
教学策略 创设语境,兼顾图片的语境作用,为学生搭建合理支架促进建构。

Step 1: Warm up(about 3 minutes) 学生看动画学唱歌曲: My Home Is the Place. 2. 学生看动画回答问题。T: This man likes traveling. So does Simon.Question: Where does Simon want to go Answer: He wants to visit China. He wants to visit the Great Wall.教师继续追问: T: How about this bird We can ask it, “Do you want to visit China ”Do you know the answer Ss: Yes! Yes! 歌曲热身,营造了文本主题的学习氛围。通过学习Activity 1,带领学生复习want的用法,为后面的学习做铺垫。
Step 2: Lead in(about 2 minutes) 介绍文本背景。T: Today Simon’s dad wants to take them to visit a place. Listen, he says, “Do you want to visit the UN building in New York ”What is the UN building like And what will they do there Let’s begin our new class.Module 9 Unit 1 Do you want to visit the UN building 导入本课课题。
Step 3: Presentation(about 20 minutes) 1. 借助图片,引领学生走进文本。T: Look, what a big building! It’s the UN building. What can you see in this picture Ss: There are many flags.T: Yes, there are flags from all around the world. Here’s a flag of China. China is a member state of the UN. 2. 观看Activity 2课文动画,回答问题。Question: How many member states are there in the UN Answer: There are 193. They make a big family.3. 学生观看图片了解联合国大楼内景。T: The UN building is big and beautiful. Do you want to go inside Simon and Daming want to go inside. And inside the UN building, what does Simon want to do 4. 学生观看视频回答问题。Question1: What does Daming want to do Answer: Simon wants to show Daming one of the presents from China.Question 2: What does Daming want to do Answer: He wants to take a photo.教师追问:What is the present Ss: It’s a train.6. 听音跟读。7. 分角色表演课文。 从课文情境图展开教学,教师借助图片让学生初步了解联合国,接下来通过观看课文动画,层层递进地设疑,让学生更深入地学习理解文本故事。
Step 4: Practice and Consolidation(about 13 minutes) 1. 学生看图片说句子。Eg: Simon wants to show Daming one of the presents of China.2. 借助图片复述课文。Retell the story with the help of the pictures. 创设语言情境,练习运用本课重点句型。
Step 5: Emotional Education(about 2 minutes) The UN brings the peace to the world.Love the world. Love peace. 教师介绍联合国的有关知识,培养学生热爱和平的情感。
