教材分析 本模块的教学内容是提出建议,说明能做的事情。其中第一单元的语境为Amy和Lingling接受Ms Smart的建议设立了家庭图书馆,并邀请朋友来借书。第二单元的课文是一段关于如何从学校图书馆获取相关信息的说明。通过本模块的学习,重点巩固用“Let’s...”提出建议和用“can”说明可以做的事情,并通过本模块的学习给予基础薄弱的同学更多巩固和运用的机会。
模块教学目标 一、知识目标熟练掌握本模块的重点单词:library, student, sent, CD, idea, put, shelf, heavy, dictionary, card, ask, wrong, dear, information, e-book, project, guide, film, as well, way, on, topic,以及句型:Let’s make a home library. These are all books about science. We can find information from books and CDs.二、能力目标能根据实际情况提出建议,说明能做的事情。三、情感目标 积极运用所学英语进行表达和交流,对一般的建议做出适当的反应。

Unit 1:第一课时
教材分析 本单元的语境为Ms Smart的朋友寄来了一些书和CD,她建议Amy和Lingling设立家庭图书馆,并邀请朋友来借书。Amy和Lingling将书分类摆放,当朋友们来借书时却发现书的位置和编号竟然对不上号。在此语境中学习使用let’s... 提出建议和说明能做的事情。

Step 1: Warm up (about 3 minutes) 借助图片创设情境,引导学生进入Activity 1。T: Reading Day is coming. The students are preparing for Reading Day. What books have they got Ss: They have got books for teachers and students. T: Little Tom is coming with his dog. Have they got any books for the dog Ss: No, they haven’t.T: Amy says, “We haven’t got books for you.” 以动画形式引入主题,营造文本主题的学习氛围。
Step 2: Lead in (about 2 minutes) 从学校里他们准备了很多书,到家里Ms Smart也有很多的书,自然导入本课主题。T: There are many books at school. Ms Smart has many books and CDs too. And what will they do with the books Let’s begin our new class: Module 4 Unit 1 Let’s make a home library. 导入本课课题。
Step 3: Presentation (about 20 minutes) 读Activity 1,找到Ms Smart给的建议。 T: Read Part 1 and find Ms Smart’s suggestion. Ss: Let’s make a home library. T: That’s a good idea. At the home library their friends can come and borrow some books. 请学生思考,如何制作家庭图书馆,并引导学生一起来看他们是怎么制作家庭图书馆的。 T: How do you make a home library First, classify the books. Then, put them on the shelf. How did they make the home library Now let’s have a look. 请学生回答关于科学类的书他们是如何摆放的。 T: Look, here are some books. What are the books about Please read and answer. Ss: These are all books about science. T: Where do they put the books They have some ideas. Ss: Let’s put them on this shelf. Let’s put them with the CDs. 请学生一起来看这些重的字典该如何摆放。 T: And how about these big books What are they Ss: They’re dictionaries. (新授:dictionary-dictionaries) T: They’re heavy. So where can we put them Ss: We can put them here. (书架下层) 摆完书之后,就到了制作借书卡的环节了。 T: OK! Now the home library is ready. And they made library cards for their friends. Everything is OK! Now what can they do Ss: They can ask them to come now. 读一读,看看他们的朋友都想要什么样的书,再看动画回答问题。 T: What books do they want Ss: Sam wants books about sports. John wants books about animals. T: Can they find the books Why Let’s watch and answer. Ss: No, the books are in the wrong places. T: Now, please read and act this part. 听录音并跟读。 请学生分角色展示读。 让学生自主学习,学生提出问题、解决问题,教师引领、指导学生层层深入文本故事。
Step 4: Practice and Consolidation (about 13 minutes) 创设图书角情境,引导学生操练语句。Our class has an English corner.And the teachers prepare some things for us.What are these things Let’s talk about them. 创设语言情境,练习运用本课重点句型。
Step 5: Emotional Education (about 2 minutes) 情感教育They are not careful enough.But they like to share their books with their friends! 对学生进行情感教育,她们不够细心但是她们乐于分享。
