Grandma made Chinese food for me.3. 理解并能运用一般过去时态。二、能力目标1. 能正确理解并运用本课的重点单词和句型。2. 能运用所学语言描述自己的旅行经历。三、情感目标 激发学生学习英语的兴趣，让学生感受到生活的美好，热爱生活。

Step 3: Presentation(about 19 minutes) 1. 看课文第一幅图片，猜一猜：T: Where is Daming now Ss: He’s in New York now.2. 听课文第一段，回答问题。When did Daming arrive there Who met him at the airport How did they go to their home 3. 读课文第二、三段，回答问题。What food did Grandma make for Daming 教读单词：American, find out, more听并跟读。 ( Learn: building)复述课文。教师先做示范，然后让学生看图片和关键词，复述课文。 询问学生 Daming现在在哪儿，激发学生的兴趣，引发学生的思考。通过听音回答问题，培养学生的听力。通过阅读回答问题，培养学生的阅读能力。在图片和关键词的帮助下，引导学生复述课文。
Step 4: Practice andConsolidation(about 15 minutes) 写一写。教师说自己的旅行经历。I went to Xinjiang last year with my family. We went there by plane. My grandparents met me at the airport. We took a taxi to their home. It’s very beautiful! We took a lot of pictures. We had a good time!然后让学生说一说，再写一写。 教师先做示范说自己的旅行经历，然后让学生说一说自己的经历再写一写。从而达到语言输出的目的。
Step 5: Emotional Education(about 1 minute) Love our nature and love our life. 对学生进行情感教育，让他们感受到生活的美好，从而热爱生活，热爱大自然。
