火车什么时候到达伦敦？arrive, get与reach都有“到达”之意。
① arrive是不及物动词，其后必须加介词才能跟宾语。arrive in后接表示洲、国家、城市等大地方的名词。而arrive at后接表示车站、学校、邮局等较小地方的名词。例如：

这架飞机几点到达纽约？
They reach school at 7 o’clock in the
morning.
他们早上7点到校。② get也是个不及物动词，其后加介词to,再接地点名词；③ reach是及物动词，其后可直接接名词或代词作宾语。2. What are you up to?

What is he up to with all those books on the floor?be up to用于表示 “忙于……，正在做……”。例如：Do you want to stay or go? It’s up to you.

Have you received her letter yet?yet用于否定句和疑问句，意思是“还，尚”。not…yet的意思是“还没，尚未”，表示某事物在某一时间尚未发生，但未来也许会发生。例如：4. The journey has taken several months.
行程历时几个月。
如: It took us an hour to send this email.
= We spent an hour sending this email.
我们花了一个小时发这个电子邮件。take后面加时间常表示“花费（多长时间）”，常用句型为:
It takes sb. some time to do sth.
意为“某人花时间做某事”，常与句型“sb. spend some time doing sth”互换。5. That’s why it’s on the news.
