一、学情分析 七年级学生活泼好动,想象力丰富,因此更需要教师在课堂上运用生动活泼,形式多样的教学手段来激发学生的学习积极性和自信心,慢慢让学生找到适合自己的英语学习方法,并爱上学习英语。
二、教材分析 本节课是人教版七上Unit 5 Do you have a soccer ball Section A 1a-2d新授课,本课时主要学习一些球类运动的词汇,实义动词have的一般现在时的用法,学生需要用have对球类运动相关物品的所属进行提问与回答并说明原因,并且学会使用do和does引导的一般疑问句的构成及其肯否定回答。
三、教学目标设计 Language and knowledge aims 1) Words:do (does), have, tennis, ball, ping-pong, bat, soccer, soccer ball, basketball, let, us, let's go, we, late, has, get 2)Sentences: ① —Do you have a baseball —Yes, I do. /No, I don't.② —Does she/he have a tennis ball —Yes, she/he does./ No, she/he doesn't. ③ —Do they have a soccer ball —Yes, they do./ No, they don't. 3) Use “Let’s…” to put forward suggestions.
Ability aim Through various reading exercises, students can learn some new words, phrases and sentences, complete the reading comprehension tasks and obtain relevant useful information.
Emotion, attitude and values 利用学生喜爱运动的心理,激发学生学习英语的欲望和兴趣,使他们乐于参与各种英语实践活动。在小组活动中,培养学生团结协作精神。
四、教学重难点 Key points 掌握一些球类运动相关的词汇,通过运用have对物品的所属进行提问以及应答。2) 在询问对方是否有某物的对话中学会使用do和does引导的一般疑问句。3)学会用祈使句来向对方提出建议。
Difficult points 学会使用第三人称单数的一般疑问句Does… 及回答做对话。
五、教学方法 1、情景教学法:使用大量的图片、视频等资源,吸引学生的注意力和兴趣,让学生更容易去理解并乐于参与,提高兴趣度,提高上课效率。
2、任务型教学法:用各种各样的,精心设计的具体、可操作的任务贯穿其中,倡导体验参与,培养自主学习能力。让他们自己在完成一个又一个任务的同时获得成功感,从而提高学习英语的兴趣。以参与、体验、互动、交流、合作的学习方式,充分发挥学习者自身的认知能力,真正实现“在做中学”。3、直观教学法:可以借助实物模型、图片、挂图、简笔画、体态语、全身反应等帮助学生将英语与客观事物建立起直接的联系,使孩子在头脑中能形成比较鲜明的事物表象,吸引学生的注意力,激发他们学习英语的兴趣。4、模仿示范法:教师通过规范化的英语,为学生提供英语学习的范本,让学生始终在良好纯正的英语环境中自然的模仿学习。5、合作学习法:有利于提升学生团队合作意识,促进学生综合素质的全面提升。
六、教学过程设计 Step 1 Process Warmer:sing a chant and do some hand claps.
Teacher activity Demonstrate the chant for the students .
Ss activity Follow the teacher to sing the chant together.
Purpose To energize the students.
Step 2 Process Lead-in by enjoying a video clip.
Teacher activity Show a video about sports and then ask the students some questions about it.
Ss activity Watch the video carefully and answer the questions actively.
Purpose 1. To elicit the words about the sports they have already known like running, swimming and so on2. To get the students focused on the context(topic).
Step 3 Process Present the new words(look and say).
Teacher activity Show the new words with the pictures on the screen and teach the students their meanings and right pronunciation and help the students to drill all these words for several times.
Ss activity Understand the meanings of the new words and read them correctly.
Purpose 1 To convey the meanings of the new words by using the pictures.2 To get the students focused on the right pronunciation.
Step 4 Process Game 1 (sharp eyes)
Teacher activity Click the PPT and the students who stand up the fastest has the chance to speak out the word loudly to the whole class. If it is right, the student will get one card, if there is any mistake, the teacher will help to correct.
Ss activity Recognize the words fast and correctly.
Purpose To check whether the students have mastered the right pronunciation or not.
Step 5 Process Game 2 (guessing game)
Teacher activity Show the pictures of some famous sports players and then the students try to guess what kind of sports it stands for. If it is right, the student will get one card, if there is any mistake, the teacher will help to correct.
Ss activity Look and guess.
Purpose To check whether the students have understood the accurate meanings of the words.
Step 6 Process Present the new sentence structures 1
Teacher activity Create a suitable situation and help guide the students to speak out the sentence structure using the singular second person and then do a pair-work to drill.
Ss activity Drill the new sentence structure with their partners and pair-work.
Purpose To build up a situation and convey the sentence structures to the students in a meaningful way.
Step 7 Process Present the new sentence structures 2
Teacher activity Create another suitable situation and help guide the students to speak out the sentence structure using the singular third person.

Step 8 Process Game 3(guessing game)
Teacher activity Lead the pairs to ask and answer questions(answer by guessing Yes or No) so as to practice the sentence structure.
Ss activity Work in pairs to ask and answer the questions about the sentence structures using the singular third person. After that, the students need to do a pair-work to drill the new sentence structures with their partners.
Purpose To help consolidate the sentence structures using the singular third person.

Teacher activity Guide the students to ask other students about the things they have or they don’t have.
Ss activity Work in groups of four and ask other students about the things they have or they don’t have.
Purpose To check whether the students have really known how to use these sentence structures or not.
