Teaching Aims
1. Knowledge Objects:
(1) Function: Talk about the ownership.
(2) Key Vocabulary: basketball, soccer ball, ping-pong ball, volleyball, tennis, bat, do, does,have, has.....
(3) Target Language:
— Do you have a ... —Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.
— Does she/he have a... —Yes, she/he does./No,she/he doesn’t. (4)Structures: Do/Does questions; affirmative answer and negative answer.
2. Ability Objects:
(1) Learn the words of different balls.
(2) Ask and answer questions about ownership.
(3) To train students’ ability of listening and speaking.
(4) To train the students’ ability of working in pairs and working in groups.
3. Moral Objects:
(1) Learn the spirit of Olympics and love sports.
(2) Playing sports after class is good for the health and communicate more with their classmates.

Teaching Procedures
Step 1 Review and lead in
1.Review the sentences they have learned in unit4.
2.Watch a short video of NBA games.
Purpose of my designing: Watching the video can stimulate students’ interest in learning English and attract attention.
Step 2 Teach the new words
1. Learn the new words by seeing pictures on the screen.
2.Play a word game:Simon Says.( Ask several students to come to the front to act the new words out when other students speak out the sports. If one of the students act wrong, he/she is out. )
3. Do 1a.
Purpose of my designing: Students can learn and remember the new words through the game. I think playing word game is a good way to remember words well in relaxing atmosphere and raise their interests in English leaning.
Step 3 Presentation
Read the conversation in 1a.
Show some pictures on the screen and let the students to practice them.
Do a relay game to practice the sentence pattern:
S1:I have a...
S2: She has a...I have a...
S3: She has a ...He has a... I have a...
Let students choose the pictures of balls in the box and answer teacher’s questions.
T:( Please choose one ball in the box) Do you have a basketball
S1:Yes, I do.
T:Please put it on the blackboard.
T:Do you have a volleyball
S2: No,I don’t.
T: Does he have a volleyball
S2: Yes, he does.
Then students put the balls they choose on the blackboard.
Purpose of my designing:CAI can provide a real situation with its sound and picture. To present the dialogue by CAI is much easier for the students to grasp the meanings. A relay game here can develop the students’ ability of communication and also their cooperation will be trained. Teacher-student interaction can build a harmonious relationship and strengthen students’ confidence .
Step 4 Listening
Do 1b and check the answers .
Do 2a and 2b and check the answer.
Purpose of my designing: This step is employed to make the students get the general idea of the dialogues and let the students have a chance to practice their listening and speaking abilities. I always believe that imitating the original soundtrack is a good way to improve our spoken English.
Step 5 Pairwork
1. Look at the sentence pattern in 2C.
2. Show more pictures to let students make more conversations.
Purpose of my designing: Task-based method and Communicative method are used here to develop the students’ ability of communication and also their cooperation will be trained.
Step 6 Make a survey
Let students make a survey and write them down.

Purpose of my designing:Group work can cultivate students’ team spirit. The most important is improving their speaking ability and writing ability. Meanwhile, they can grasp the sentence patterns and new words through this kind of activity.

Summarize the key points of this period.
Purpose of my designing: Students can understand the sentence pattern better.
Step 8 Exercise
Do some exercises.
Purpose of my designing: Excises can check the outcome of what they learned and consolidate the knowledge.
Step 9 Moral education
Let students know the importance of playing sports and what the Olympics spirit is.
Purpose of my designing:Put some moral education into our class is necessary.
Step 9 Homework
Make a poster. Your school will have a school sports meeting next week. Ask your classmates how many balls they have and what kind of balls they have.Write them down .
Purpose of my designing: It is necessary for students to do some extensive excises after class to consolidate what they have learned.

该部分的学习贴近学生的生活,学习由助动词do和does 引导的一般疑问句的构成以及问答,通过使用动词have对物品的所属进行提问和回答,教学设计将教学内容和信息技术相结合,激发了学生的学习兴趣,使他们乐于参加各种英语活动,课堂教学循序渐进的过程符合学生认知的发展规律,由教师和学生双边通过教与学的互动,既发展了学生的主体性,有发展了学生的多元智能,课堂氛围活跃和谐。
除了学习英语知识以外,英语学习的核心素养要求我们要培养学生的语言能力、思维品质、技能、情感态度价值观等多方面的要求。在这方面,我做的还不够到位,需要在以后的英语教学中培养学生的创新素养。由于本班的班额较大,练习句型时可能机会不充足。在relay game 的环节,学生对第三人称单数形式掌握的不牢固的会说错“She have a basketball .”针对这样的问题,虽然课堂教学中我及时的纠正反馈,但是还应该利用课后让学生多加练习。另外在学生make a report 的环节,学生的口语表达能力是有差异的,这需要我努力钻研教材教法,不断的运用信息技术,提高自身的教学素养,用先进的教学理念去引导孩子多听多说多思考,加强学生的语言实践,多给他们展示自我的机会,培养学生的信心!
