Step 1 Lead-in (PPT 3-8) Show some pictures and review the key sentences: —I can sing/ dance/ play the guitar. —I want to join the music club. Work in pairs. Look at the pictures and make conversations about their clubs and abilities. Ask some pairs to show them. 利用生动的图片,复习上节课所学的重点句型。观察图片,表达自己的能力并描述想要加入的俱乐部,导入2a。小组合作练习对话。
Step 2 Listening (PPT 9) 1. Work on 2a. Listen to these two conversations and circle the clubs you hear. Read the clubs and make conversations like this: —What club do you want to join —I want to join the music club. 听完2a后,利用图上的句型, 练习对话。创造真实的语言环境,使学生熟练运用这些句型。
Step 3 Listening (PPT 10) 1.Work on 2b. Listen again. Complete the sentences. 2. Read the sentences and pay attention to the missing words. 3. Write the sentences down and use can do and want(s) to do. 听完2b,读这些句子。 特别注意填的单词,这是听力里难度比较大的一个题型。
Step 4 Practice (PPT 11-12) 1.Work on 2c. Look at 2b and talk about what the people can do and the clubs they want to join. Lisa can’t play chess, but she wants to join the chess club. ... 2. Read the sentences and pay attention to wants/likes to do. 根据表格提供的信息完成句子。特别提醒学生此处用第三人称单数,注意单三用法。

Role-play the conversation. 3. Read the conversation in 2d. Fill in the chart. 4. Read the conversation and fill in the blanks. 5.
