学情分析
本单元的学习任务就是谈论生日,学生有话可说。六年级的学生他们思维敏捷,富有想象力,语言表述能力较强,能够自然地用日常英语进行交流。对英语学习表现出积极性和初步的自信心,充满了表现欲。经过几年的英语学习,他们活泼上进,有一定的英语基础,喜欢合作学习,有良好的课堂合作学习习惯,能静能动,集体观念较强。学生对现在进行时在上一模块已经有了初步的了解,本单元是在复习巩固进行时的基础上,来讨论一件事情发生时另外一件事情也同时发生。在教学中教师应该更关注后进生,给他们更多的机会表现自己,激发他们的学习积极性,让所有学生自然地同步前进,并为接下去的学习打好基础。
教学目标及教学重点、难点
语言课时目标:新单词play, third , time , bark , loudly, have a birthday party, play the suona, the third time 新句型Daming is playing the suona, but the phone rings. Daming is playing the suona again, but the bell rings. Daming is playing the suona for the third time, but the dog starts to bark very loudly. 语言技能目标:(1)能够听录音跟读课文,理解本单元新词汇在具体语境中的运用。能够读懂语段,理解语段的意思。 (2)能够进一步练习和巩固现在进行时的用法。 (3)能够用英语谈论正在做一件事时另一件事情也发生了。 文化意识:在学习和日常交际中,了解中外文化异同。 情感态度:激发学生的学习热情,并进行文明礼仪教育。
重点 (1)培养学生的预测、信息定位等阅读策略。 (2)培养学生自主阅读、合作学习能力。 难点 学会运用“but”进行表示转折,能够用英语谈论正在做一件事时另一件事情也发生了。

本课时是外研版三起点六年级下册第五模块第一单元第一课时。本课时包括Look,listen and say.和Listen and read.两个板块。Look,listen and say.为我们呈现了课本中的两只狗的表情和动作,我们要边跟读边做自己喜欢的动作;Listen and read.为大家呈现了大明在生日聚会上吹起了唢呐,但是不断有事情打断他,一起来看看发生什么事情了呢。本单元的话题是描述描述正在做一件事情时另一件事情同时发生的场景。Daming 在他的生日聚会上为朋友吹唢呐,此时电话响了,他只好停下来。然后Daming再次吹起唢呐,但门铃响了,他又停了下来。这时又来了不少朋友,Simon的小狗也来了。Daming 第三次吹起唢呐时,小狗大声叫了起来,朋友们都听不到Daming的演奏。Simon 对小狗说:“别叫了!”小狗再不叫了,大家都笑了起来。本单元的学习重点是复习现在进行时的运用,任务是介绍自己的一次聚会。本单元共1课时完成。
学情分析
本单元的教学对象是小学六年级学生,该年龄段的学生已经有一定的英语基础,也掌握了学习英语的基本方法。本单元的学习重点是复习现在进行时的运用,通过复习使全体学生能运用该语法介绍自己的一次聚会。本课的话题,贴近学生的生活实际。利用学生周围的实际生活,诱导学生运用本课所学的新语言,积极实践,大胆交流。这节课上,大多数同学的反应还是不错的,但我忽略了另外一部分基础不太好的同学,在从阅读拓展到口语表达的时候,我就发现这部分同学有点吃力了,在以后的教学实践中,一定会多加注意策略与学生实际情况的结合。
