教材分析
本课时是外研版三起点六年级下册第八模块第二单元第一课时。本课时包括Look,listen and say.和Listen and read.两个板块。Look,listen and say.主要为大家展现了两幅图片,然后根据图片内容来编造对话;Listen and read.为大家展现四幅图片,给大家描述下某人穿某种奇装异服的原因。并通过一系列的课堂活动,创造语境,让学生把单词运用于句子中,重点是进一步强化现在进行时和一般将来时的运用,及巩固询问和说明原因的why 与because 的用法。教师注意给有困难的学生更多练习和巩固的机会,并帮助有能力的学生进行拓展。
学情分析
本课教学对象是六年级的学生,重点强化现在进行时态和一般将来时态。六年级学生具备一定的英语基础,而对于单词也已经有了掌握,能够读和书写。学生从小学一年级开始学习英语,进入六年级的学生已经有一定的英语学习基础,大部分学生养成了良好的英语学习习惯,对英语学习有一定的学习兴趣,有自己的学习策略。在第一单元学习的基础上,学生已经理解并运用why 和because询问原因并回答。学生在思考问题时还是不够全面,因此教师在教学中要鼓励学生认真对待任何事,善于观察、善于思考。

语言知识目标:新单词cup, planned, baseball, more, smile, mistake, make mistakes, with, said, raincoat. 新句型Why are you wearing a hat 语言技能目标: 询问原因(why )及回答(because) 。 文化意识:在日常生活中,了解中外文化异同。 情感目标:激发学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生在轻松愉快的气氛中学到知识。
重点 学会如何询问原因及怎样回答。 难点 创设情境,学习课文并通过练习,使学生初步掌握如何询问原因及怎样回答,通过听音练习来操练那些容易混淆的单词。

Step3 Presentation 建议用时:20min 1.Words Learning! 老师放映课件,用中文询问同学看到了什么?同学们会看到课件上呈现的图画。 教师拿出单词卡片,进入重点新词汇学习环节,向同学展示图片,结合PPT上放映的内容,带领同学学习一些新单词,如cup, planned, baseball, more, smile, mistake, make mistakes, with, said, raincoat.等然后有例句呈现。 每张单词页后都附有一页单词解析,教室结合图片道具和动作向同学解释例句,帮助同学记忆。 2.The teacher should ask some questions about last lesson, Heller Kaller and Louise Braille. T: Why couldn't Heller Kaller see and hear S: Because she became blind and deaf as a small child. T: Why couldn't Louise Braille hear S: He became blind when he was four years old. T: Why are Lingling, Daming and Amy laughing Because Amy said: Bring caps for the baseball game, but Lingling brought some cups for the baseball caps. Lingling made a mistake. So they are laughing. 3.Learn the text Let students look at the pictures carefully, and then let them talk about what they are talking about. Step 4 Practice 建议用时:12min 学生观看所给图片提示并完成句子练习。 Now let’s play a game! 教师组织学生观察图片、合作并创编对话。该部分可以采用让学生抢答的方式,并对表现好的给予奖励。这种奖励的形式不仅调动了学生的积极性,也充分挖掘学生的知识储备和反应速度,提高注意力,还培养了学生口、眼的协调性。然后对换角色,进行表演。 Tom:Why are you crying Mary:Because my brother make my milk overturn. 【设计意图】能在实际情境中运用所学的句型。

Then write the story.四个板块。Read and write.我们是通过所给图片提示来完成下列对话的形式来用why和because来编造对话;Listen and say. Then sing.该部分是首歌曲,通过歌谣的形式来感受整首歌谣的韵律,然后逐句来唱的;Find the answers the riddles.该部分主要是利用猜谜语的形式来进行该部分;Do and say.Then write the story.该部分主要是通过观察每张卡片上的单词,然后利用单词来造句,使句子构成一个逻辑合理的故事。
学情分析
六年级学生对英语学习保持较好的兴趣,基础知识掌握较牢固,大部分学生已具备自主学习,小组合作探究能力,能从已有的知识和经验出发, 获取新知识,也学习了一些听力,阅读和知识归纳的方法,这一课时,我们着重帮助学生树立正确的学习态度,在学习单词的基础上让学生组词—造句 进而达到应用的目的。通过让学生观察、交流的形式理解图片,并通过听录音材料对比自己所造句子与录音内容的区别来进一步运用多种时态来描述文中的几副图片内容。

Step 2 Lead in 3’ 建议用时:3min Step 2 Lead in 1.Greetings. 2.Chant.教师播放本课时Activity 4 Listen and say. Then chant.部分的录音,学生跟着录音机读歌谣。然后齐读,男女声读,分小组读。 3.Play a game. 教师准备一张标有各个城市名称的地图和代表天气符号的卡片。然后教师念句子,如:It will be sunny in Beijing. It will rain in Hainan.找几组学生按照教师的提示把卡片贴在相应的城市旁边。贴全对的为获胜者,教师给予口头表扬。

Step 4. Practice 建议用时:12min 今天我们学习了Why……?Because……以及行为动词现在进行时和一般将来时的用法。教师将全班同学分为两两一组,若干组,挑出一组上台表演。让学生根据所给图片提示完成下列对话。看谁做得既对又快,老师要奖励小红花以此鼓励。 Why is he laughing Because he got A in the exam.
