课时分析
Simon向Daming介绍了唐人街,Daming也向simon介绍了很多关于中国的情况。去美国时,他给simon带了很多中国景物的明信片。老师出示活动1中的六幅图画,让学生试着说一说它们分别是什么地方(或上面有些什么)。鼓励学生回答。问问他们想不想知道如何用英语介绍这些中国的景点和景物,以此引出课文。
六年级学生对英语学习保持较好的兴趣,基础知识掌握较牢固,大部分学生已具备自主学习,小组合作探究能力,能从已有的知识和经验出发, 获取新知识,也学习了一些听力,阅读和知识归纳的方法,这一课,我着重帮助学生树立正确的学习态度,把握有效的学习方法和学习策略,培养他们良好的学习习惯。
课时目标
(1)全体学生能够理解词汇:hope
(2)学会使用“There be”句型介绍事物。

多媒体课件,PPT课件、单词卡片、课文教学挂图
教学过程
Step 1 Warm up
老师出示几张照片,黄山、长江、西湖、长城等,让学生根据图片用英文来描述图片内容。
Step 2 Lead in
(1)请学生听SB unit2活动3的录音,之后让学生试着跟读一遍。要求它们注意重读的地方。让学生把书翻到SB unit2 活动3,仔细看书上的句子以及每句话中用黑体标注的地方,比较一下自己刚才跟读时重音的位置与书上的标注是否一致。老师再放录音学生边听边看书,认真体会。
(2)让学生把书翻到SB unit 1 的故事,再听录音,试着在Daming and Simon的对话中勾出需要重读的音节和单词,然后有感情的朗读。
(3)老师讲解:Simon向Daming介绍了唐人街,Daming也向simon介绍了很多关于中国的情况。去美国时,他给simon带了很多中国景物的明信片。老师出示活动1中的六幅图画,让学生试着说一说它们分别是什么地方(或上面有些什么)。鼓励学生回答。问问他们想不想知道如何用英语介绍这些中国的景点和景物,以此引出课文。
Step 3 Presentation
(1)出示SB unit 2 活动1的六张明信片,播放录音,让学生认真听。先让学生整体听,鼓励学生说一说听到的信息。
(2)再放录音,让学生认真听,在每段后暂停,猜一猜录音中描述的是哪一幅图。它们分别是什么地方,并试着回答它们分别位于中国的哪一部分。

Look! These are my postcards from China .Look at this one .There are lots of bicycles in China . People ride them to work . And there are lots of beautiful lakes. This is the west lake. It’s in Hangzhou. There is a very famous river ,the Changjiang River .It is about 12,600 li long . I like this postcard .There is a famous square in the middle of Beijing . It’s Tian’anmen Square . And there’s a very famous wall in China ,the Great Wall. It’s six thousand seven hundred kilometers long . Of course , there are also many mountains in China . There is a famous mountain in Anhui . Look ! This is the Huangshan Mountain .
(3)讲解课文内容。
(4)教师领读课文,学生练习朗读课文。
(5)让学生根据意思,练习背诵句子。
Step 4 Practise
(1)活动一:
现在学生衣服上的图案很丰富.教师可让一个学生站在黑板前,让其他学生用“There be”句型来描述学生衣服上的图案.
如: There are some ducks on her dress.
(2)活动二:
四人小组,运用 “There be”句型描述自己所带的照片,也可以是收集的他人的照片,或风景人物照等.
如: There are some children are playing football in the playground.
Step 6 Homework
1.朗读并背诵第二模块学习的单词。
2.朗读并背诵活动二的课文。
3.挑选一张你喜欢的外出游玩时的景点照片,介绍照片上的城市及景点。

课时分析
本课时是外研版三起点六年级上册第二模块第二单元第一课时。本课时通过一些图片,对话让学生掌握和理解本课的重要句型和单词,让学生知道如何描述祖国的大好河山或者自己家乡的景点。
本课时包括Listen and chant.,Listen and read.两个板块。本节课主要是让学生通过著名景点的了解和学习,本课时贴近学生生活,能够很好的激发学生的兴趣。六年级学生具备一定的英语基础,而对于单词也已经有了掌握,能够读和书写。对于there be句型也有了一定的掌握。讲解本篇课文之前要求学生课前已经提前预习。学生通过对词组、句型的学习和操练,能够比较熟练地用英语描述出祖国的大好河山或者自己家乡的景点。

(1)能够能听、说、读、写以下词组the Changjiang River, the West Lake, the Huangshan Mountain, the Great Wall
(2)能准确理解并运用there be句型。

教师展示一张“classroom”词卡作为先行者,引领学生对教室布置如,door, blackboard, window, fan等用there be句型进行简单描述。

将长城、长江等六副图片放入小篮子,音乐响起开始传递礼物盒,音乐声停,拿到盒子的学生从盒中抽取一张图片描述图片内容,描述完之后图片送给学生保存。
【设计意图:通过这个强化练习让学生能够比较熟练地用英语描述出祖国的大好河山或者自己家乡的景点。】
