本课时为外研版第八模块第一单元的第二课时,主要学习教材第46页的内容。本课时为一节复习课,活动3通过对话的形式呈现上一课时的重点词汇stop、clean、not really和重点句型“Do you often+动词原形(+其他)?”,让学生进一步复习所学词汇和句型。活动4再次对句型“Do you often+动词原形(+其他)?”进行反复操练。
本课时包括Listen and say.和Listen, read and act out.两个板块。Listen and say.呈现了关于节日的活动,然后结合practise一起,更能激发学生学习英语的兴趣。Practise.板块是一个综合性的语用活动。学生可以通过这个活动将前3部分所学的词汇和句型描述自己喜欢的节日,做到学以致用。

(1)听、说、认读单词和短语:often, clean, play with, clean your room, read books, read stories.
(2)复习表达喜好(like)和You are playing with dolls.等表正在做某事(现在进行时)的句子
(3)能听懂、会读并联系自己的生活实际口头运用
"Do you often …?" Yes,I do. Not very often. Yes, I do. “Not really.” “ Not very often”. 等。会听、说、读、写:often, clean并能模仿例句用often写几句话。
(4)理解课文内容,能跟读、朗读课文。

Step 1 Warm up
师生进行日常对话,如:
T:Do you often play with dolls
S1:Yes,I like dolls.

S4:Yes,I love taking photos.
【设计意图】通过师生日常对话,复习上一课时所学重点词汇和句型,同时为新课的学习做准备。

·教材意图
本部分是为复习句型“Do you often+动词原形(+其他)?”而设计的对话活动。
·教学建议
(1)教师让学生观察活动3中的两幅图片,预测对话内容。
(2)教师播放录音,学生静听,初步感知对话内容。
(3)教师领读对话,学生跟读,然后和同桌分角色练习对话。
(4)教师请两名学生翻译对话,随后对翻译有误的地方进行纠正。
(5)教师再次播放录音,学生模仿其语音、语调跟读。然后教师请几组学生表演对话,对表现优异的学生给予奖励。
2.Activity 4
·教材意图
本部分是为巩固句型“Do you often+动词原形(+其他)?”而设计的操练活动。
·教学建议
(1)教师带领学生朗读方框中的动词(词组),学生跟读。
(2)教师邀请几名学生翻译动词(词组),然后纠正翻译有误的地方。
(3)教师将这些动词(词组)写在黑板上,然后请几名学生上台,用磁钉将表示这些动词(词组)的图片贴在相应的动词(词组)的下方。教师带领其他学生核对。
(4)教师带领学生朗读气泡框中的对话,并提醒学生回答不仅仅局限于“是”和“否”。如果答案是肯定的,可以用“Yes,I do./Yes,of course./Yes,I like.../Yes,I often...”等回答;如果答案是否定的,可以用“No,I don't./Not really./Not very often.”等回答。
(5)教师让学生利用方框中的动词(词组),仿照气泡框中的对话与同桌展开对话练习。对话时,要注意一轮结束后互换角色,交替问答。如:
S1:Do you often play computer games
S2:Not very often.Do you often help your mum
S1:Yes,I do.Do you often read stories
S2:...
(6)教师请几组学生表演对话,对表达准确且流利的学生给予奖励。
Step 3 Practise
教师拿出准备好的小红花,让全班学生围成一个圈,进行游戏。游戏规则如下:
教师背对学生用多媒体播放音乐,学生开始从左往右传递小红花。教师暂停音乐,学生也停止传递小红花。这时小红花如果在学生A的手上,学生A就要用句型“Do you often+动词原形(+其他)?”向他/她右边的这名学生提问,右边的学生根据自己的实际情况作答。如果提问和回答都表述无误,则教师继续播放音乐,游戏继续;如果提问或回答有误,其他学生要指出并纠正,然后学生A和他/她右边的学生重新进行问答,直到表述正确无误才可继续游戏。
Step 4 Homework
1.朗读并背诵第八模块学习的单词。
2.朗读并背诵活动二的课文。
3.运用一般现在时的疑问句,询问对方是否经常做某事并回答。

本课教材为外研版六年级上册Module 8 Unit 1 Do you often play with dolls 本单元的主要内容是谈论自己的生活习惯。本单元的课文情境是Amy向Lingling展示自己的照片。第一张照片是小时候的Amy抱着玩具娃娃,Lingling问Amy是否经常玩娃娃,Amy说自己从很久以前就不再玩娃娃了。第二张照片是小时候Amy在看图画书,Lingling问Amy现在是否还喜欢读书,Amy说自己经常读故事书。第三张照片是小时候的Amy在打扫房间,Amy不经常打扫房间而Lingling经常打扫自己的房间。Lingling随后问Amy是否经常拍照,Amy回答说自己很喜欢拍照。Lingling说自己不经常拍照,但Daming有一台很好的照相机,在中国的时候他给Lingling, Amy和Sam拍了很多的照片。
