课时分析
本课时是外研版三起点六年级上册第十模块第二单元第一课时。本单元的教学内容是是谈论行为规范和交通规则。本单元的课文介绍了八个交通标志以及相应的口令，依次为：停车，行驶，直行，此处禁止骑自行车，行人止步，行人通过，左转，此处禁止右转。主要任务是学会表达交通规则及室内外公共场所要遵守的行为规范。学习重点仍是用祈使句表达行为规范和交通规则。
本课时包括Look, listen and say.,Listen and read.,Look at the map. Then give questions.等三个板块。Look, listen and say.为大家呈现了交通信号等和交通规则；Listen and read.该部分为大家介绍了八个交通标志；Look at the map. Then give questions.该部分是根据所给图片提示和地图编造对话，要注意遵守交通规则哟。
课时目标
1. 能听懂、会说并能熟练使用词组turn left/right. Be quiet.

教学过程
Step 1 Warm up
1.师生相互问候，用日常英语进行对话。
2.将学生分为四人一组，小组内讨论图书馆里需要遵守的规则，并用英文（祈使句）写出来。看看哪个小组写的句子又多又准确，教师予以表扬。示例如下：

Don't run in the library!
Don't eat in the library!
Don't listen to music in the library!

【设计意图】上课前的小组讨论，既可以活跃课堂气氛，激发学生学习的积极性，同时也复习了上一课时所学知识点，为本课时的学习做好铺垫。
Step 2 Presentation
1.Activity 1
·教材意图
通过呈现日常生活中常见的过马路的情景，介绍交通规则“红灯停，绿灯行”，并引出新单词cross。
·教学建议
（1）教师引导学生观察图片，猜测课文内容。
（2）教师播放录音，让学生模仿录音的语音、语调跟读两遍。
（3）教师带领学生阅读课本内容，并进行新单词cross的讲解教学，要求学生使用cross进行造句。
（4）让学生尝试理解和翻译课文，然后抽几名学生进行朗读并翻译，教师进行指导、纠正。
（5）理解和熟读课文后，学生分角色进行对话表演。
2.Activity 2
·教材意图
此部分通过介绍一些常见的交通标志和指示图进一步学习祈使句，让学生学会运用祈使句来描述交通规则。
·教学建议
（1）教师通过多媒体课件呈现活动2的图片，让学生猜猜这些交通标志的意思。
（2）教师播放课文录音，学生静听，然后学生自行朗读和翻译课文中的祈使句。
（3）教师带领学生一起学习这些交通标志图，并对其英语表达作适当讲解。
（4）让学生观察这些祈使句的异同，引导学生说出Do型祈使句的肯定形式和否定形式的句式结构特点。
（5）教师进行小结，带领学生再一次复习巩固祈使句的用法。
（6）教师播放录音，让学生模仿录音的语音、语调，跟读两遍。
Step 3 Practise
识图比赛
（1）教师准备一些交通标志的图片（可参考教材上出示部分），并将所有图片放入一个盒子。
（2）教师请两名学生上台参与游戏，由教师抽取一张图片，两名学生抢答，根据图片内容说出其对应的英语表达，注意必须使用祈使句。先说出且表达正确的学生获胜，另一名则淘汰。然后教师再抽选第三位学生与刚刚获胜的学生进行比拼，以此类推，坚持到最后的一名学生获胜。示例如下：
（图片中的标志是“禁止直行”）
S1：Go straight on！（淘汰）

（图片中的标志是“左转”）
S2：Please turn right.（淘汰）

【设计意图】通过游戏活动，提高学生参与课堂的积极性，让学生既能享受游戏的乐趣，又能通过游戏复习和巩固本单元核心知识点——祈使句，使得课堂学习的效果事半功倍。
Step 4 Consolidation and extension
教师将学生分成几个小组，学生运用所学词汇及祈使句进行造句，每人写3个以上，然后小组成员互相交流、检查。教师随机抽选或让学生自愿上台，在黑板上书写自己的句子并朗读一遍，教师进行点评，并从语音、语调、语法、单词拼写等方面给予指导、纠正。示例如下：

课时分析
本课学习对象是本校六年级学生，他们活泼上进，有一定的英语基础，喜欢合作学习，有良好的课堂合作学习习惯，能静能动，集体观念较强。Module 10的主题是Directions。语言功能是用英语问路、指路。学习任务为Go straight on! Turn left! Turn right!本单元重点学习祈使句指示方向和路线，教育学生在日常生活中要严格遵守交通规则等。
本课时包括四个部分，Listen and learn to say.为大家呈现了祈使句的语调问题，祈使句我们要读降调；Listen and say. Then sing.我们是结合交通信号灯和交通规则以及祈使句来边读边唱该歌曲。听说唱结合使歌曲更加完美。Say “please”.和Write and talk.该课时Say “please”.为大家讲述了我们在日常生活中要多说Please，以示礼貌；Write and talk.是根据我们大家的实际生活为大家制定一些行为规则等。

Step 1 Warm up
Greetings: How are you
师：以小组接龙的形式进行《图书馆守则》的复述比赛。
播放活动一的录音，跟读，注意观察交通灯的颜色变化，模仿语音语调。
Step 2 Lead in and presentation
1.播放flash 呈现社会的一些交通方面的行为规范的情景。
Teacher :What is he /she doing Is he/she right or wrong If you see him/her ,what will you do
（学生观察图片中的行为是否符合社会行为规范。）
2.让每组选出一两个学生发言（学生分组讨论图片情景，对其中人物的行为进行辨别）
学生发言：If I see him/her, I will “Stop! Don’t go !”顺势对学生进行德育教育
3.就学生的答语教读Stop! Don't go !并教学生手势。学生读时并板书。
听课文录音，学生跟读并做动作。
Step 3 Play games
逐个出示自制的交通标志，选一名学生做小交警打手势，再选五名学生上台扮演行人，按交警的提示行走。
Playing games:
Help the other student get the flag.游戏规则:请两名学生上来,一个蒙着眼睛,一个用turn left/turn right/go straight on 来指方向,帮助找到小红旗,顺利找到者,可各为小组加10分.

以小组接龙的方式再次复习<<交通规则>>
（过渡：谁能把这些句子读得又好听又起警惕的作用呢？）
播放录音 Ss listen and repeat 师指出读祈使句时应注意的声调。选一名学生做优秀"播音员"读以上的祈使句。
师:You're an excellent announcer. Please sit down.趁机说明please 的含义及语用功能。
Step 5 Consolidation and extension
Game:say "Please"这是一场淘汰赛,选5位学生上台背对黑板.师出示句子,台下的学生大声说出指令,台上的学生按含有please发出的指令做事 ,没有的则不做.看谁是获胜者.
Step 6 Homework
1.画一画交通标志并写出其英文表达。
2.与同伴运用祈使句及问路与指路用语创编对话。
