教材分析
教材内容是冀教2012版《小学英语》三年级下册第一单元的第5课。本单元的主题是农场上的动物。在本课学生学习介词in, on, under和box. 能运用介词词组in the box, on the box, underthe box.和句型Whereis... lt's...来表达在哪儿。鼓励学生使用所学内容进行对话、回答问题。并在此基础上表演对话、充分练习学生的语言表达能力和综合运用能力。
学情分析
授课对象是三年级学生，这个年龄段的学生正处于少年时期，孩子们具有好奇、好活动、爱表现、善模仿等特点。他们喜欢新鲜事物，对陌生语言的好奇心能激起他们对外语的兴趣。他们的记忆力好，形象思维好、模仿力、可塑性强，但缺乏理性思维，逻辑思维不强。他们中有些学生已经初步的接触过英语了，有的是刚开始学，但对英语都有着浓厚的兴趣。

知识与技能：1、学生能用下列词表示位置关系。in,on,under以及名词box。 2，学生能运用下列句型表述方位、Where is... lt's ... 3. 学生能了解字母m, n, l, i 在单词中的发音极其规则。 情感与态度目标：1、培养学生学习英语的兴趣、对日常生活中的事物能用英语的思维进行思考运用。 文化意识目标：让学生感受中西方语言表达上的差异。

Step 2 Warm-up 建议用时：2min (PPT Page3) Let’s chant . 设计意图：营造活跃轻松的课前气氛，使学生带着积极的心态投入到学习中去。
Step3.Presentation 建议用时：25min (PPT Page4-18) 教师拿出一个猫玩具，并做出一系列提问。 T:What's this S: It’s a .... T: Can it ... S:Yes, it can.\ No, it can’t. T:Where is the cat (放在盒子里) Ss:在盒子里 T: It’s in the box .板书：in 在.....什么里（read it one by one ） 板书：box 盒子 教师再拿出一个盒子and say one box ,two boxes . 教师拿着盒子走到哪里，学生触碰并且大声读出盒子单词。 T:Where is the cat (放在盒子上) Who want to say Canyou have a try S1: It’s on the box. T:Yes ,great 板书：on在...上面 教师拿着玩偶放在班级任意处，并且提问，Where is the cat S1: It’s on the box. S2: It’s on the book. S3: It’s on the desk. ... Step 4. Practice (建议用时：9min) (PPT Page19-20) 1.Letters and sounds 学生跟着光盘读这些单词，尤其关注标注的字母的发音及规律，并试着想想学过的类似的单词， 如: m:farm. arm. mother n:nine nice. name 1: left, look, fly i: nice, hi, white 2.Test 翻译下列单词。(让学生接龙的方式一个人说一个的翻译)
