教材分析
冀教版六年级下册的第三本单元主要以Li Ming, Jerry, Denny享受夏天的乐趣，展开一系列活动，并且回忆去年夏天做的事情，还计划了今天夏天要做的事情。本课时主要讲述Danny暑假要干什么。本课时采用情景教学。
学情分析
进入六年级的学生已经有了一定的英语学习基础。大部分学生养成了良好的英语学习习惯，但是也有一部分学生不是很喜欢上英语课，学习兴趣不是很高。同时，有些学生还是为了学习而学习，谈不上兴趣问题。所以这学期尽可能多的进行学生奖励机制及夸赞增强学生的自信心。而小学生正处于少年时期，都具有好奇、好动、愿意表现等特点。因此，在教学中一定要让他们感受到乐趣，使学生真正的产生信心，进而培养孩子学习的兴趣。另外，教师还需要多创新，多教改，让学生多些新鲜感，才会使他们在学习中始终保持兴趣。
教学目标及教学重点、难点
知识目标：1.学会本课中的四会单词: clever. 2.会准确运用句型Will you … 并进行回答；会运用句型：某人+will not do sth.。 3.理解并会朗读短文。 能力目标：发展学生综合运用语言的能力，培养学生自主探究的能力及与同学的分工合作的能力。学会用will询问将要做和不做的事情。 过程与方法目标：创设语言情境，运用重点单词和句型。 情感态度与价值观目标：激发学生学习热情与参与欲望，能够大胆开口，主动模仿，调动学习积极性。：能够通过询问对方的假期生活，让学生更加热爱生活、热爱运动、热爱大自然。
教学重点：重点单词和句型的理解和掌握。学会用will询问将要做和不做的事情。 教学难点：一般将来时，一般过去时的运用。
