Stage Of Lesson Stage Of Lesson Warm-up: The Game of introduction. I say “Hello, what’s your name ” Ss should use the sentence “I’m…“to answer. [purpose] 1) To review last class’s key sentence 2) to make them familiar with the pronunciation and meaning of “What’s your name” , which is this class’s key sentence. Presentation: Play the song “What’s your name ” and teach them a new word: name, two new phrases: my name, your name, two sentences: “What’s your name My name is … [purpose] The melody of this song is famous, so it’s easy for students to learn and get interested . Practice: two listening activities for “name, your name, my name” ①listen and say the number ②listen and say Chinese meaning. two speaking activities ①listen and say the right word ② “Simon says” Production: Play the game “Walk ,walk” two times, the first time, I walk in the classroom and ask. The second time, I’ll let some students whose oral English is better walk in the classroom. [purpose] To make sure that students can use key sentences before teaching the dialogue. Presentation: Play the video of “Just talk” with two questions “What’s the girl’s name What’s the boy’s name ” [purpose] Watching the video with something to find is more effective than listening only.
