教学目标:
1.能听懂、会说、认读、规范书写单词want, eat, noodle;能听懂、会说、认读单词jiaozi, out.
2.能够听懂、会说、认读表达点餐的句型:“What do you want to eat?” “I want to eat ….”
3.能运用所学句型进行点餐,表达自己对饮食的喜好、需要等。
教学重点:能听说、认读并运用句型“What do you want to eat? I want to eat ...”
教学难点:在实际生活中学会询问及表达饮食爱好
教学过程:
Lesson 1 I want to eat noodles.
(第一课时)
一、热身(Warm-up)
1.Greetings
2. Let’s Chant:
Fish and rice, Are very nice.
Vegetables and rice, Are very nice.
Yummy, yummy, yummy, Dinner is nice!
二、呈现(Presentation)
1. 教师播放Listen and say部分录音或教学光盘,让学生听录音或观看教学光盘并完成老师准备的问题:
Tom wants to eat________.
Tom’s father, Jack wants to eat _________.
学生理解并学习want 和eat. 教学单词jiaozi 和noodles.
2. Listen again and please underline the sentences “how does Tom’ mother ask the question?” (划出Tom’ mother是如何用英语问他们想吃什么的句子.)
Mother: What do you want to eat?
Tom: I want to eat jiaozi.
Jack: I want to eat noodles.
教师引导总结出jiaozi 和noodles 都是Chinese food
3. 教师出示一些水果和餐饮食物图片,如“egg, bread, milk, juice, vegetable,apple, orange”等,复习饮食单词。
教师可拿出苹果,说:“I like apples. I want to eat apples. ”教师问学生“What do you want to eat? ” 学生练习句型“I want to eat oranges/ some bread…”
小组同学完整练习句型“What do you want to eat? I want to eat…”
3. 请学生看课文插图,教师再次播放录音或教学光盘,请学生模仿跟读,注意语音语调。
三、练习(Practice)
1.组织学生分组活动,分角色演练对话,并可拿出相应的菜单或食物单词卡上台表演。
2. 请学生看Let’s talk部分的插图,再播放录音或教学光盘,让学生同桌两两人指图问答,如:
---What do you want to eat?
---I want to eat fish.
四、运用(Production)
1. 请学生扮演餐馆小服务员,用盘子端着相应的食物为同学们送餐。
Waiter: What do you want to eat??
S1: I want to eat some bread. (拿走相应的bread.)
Waiter: What do you want to eat??
S2: I want to eat oranges. (把盘里的桔子拿走)
2.完成Let’s do 部分。
此活动是小动物们在一起交流自己想吃的食物,学生们可选择扮演自己喜欢的小动物角色,应用所学句型“What do you want to eat. I want to eat…”进行表演。具体步骤如下:
1)两学生示范:一个学生用手势或用头饰扮演小兔子说:“ Hello! I’m Miss Rabbit. I’m hungry. ”另一个学生扮演Danny: “What do you want to eat? ”小兔子可以指着书上的蔬菜水果食物图说:“ I want to eat…”,交换角色表演。
2)学生两人一组进行练习。
3)鼓励学生上台表演,可用卡片或实物。表演时,教师要鼓励学生可模仿动物的表情、动作以使语言更加形象。
3.完成当堂练习。
五、课外活动(After-school Activities)
1.听课文录音,模仿跟读。
2.综合运用自己所学的食物名称和句型,如与家人在就餐时进行交流。
