1. 规则变化
单音节和部分双音节词 多音节词和部分双音节词
一般在词尾直接加 er或-est 以e结尾的，加-r或 -st 以“辅音字母+y”结尾的，改y为i加-er或-est 辅元辅，双写这个辅音字母后加 -er或-est 1. 三个音节以上,

二、比较级和最高级的变化规则
2. 不规则变化
（1）比较级 + than + B“A比B更...”
China is larger than Italy. 中国比意大利大。
（2）less＋原级＋than + B“A不如B...”
The book is less interesting than that one. 这本书不如那本书有趣。
（3）The＋比较级…， the＋比较级…: “越…，就越…”
The more games you play, the worse your grades get.你游戏玩得越多，成绩就越差。
（4）短：比较级＋and＋比较级 “越来越…”
长：more and more＋原级
Our country is becoming stronger and stronger. 我们的国家正变得越来越强大。
Our school is becoming more and more beautiful. 我们的学校变得越来越美丽了。
（5）倍数(数字+times)＋比较级＋than + B “是…的几倍”
This box is three times bigger than that one. 这个箱子是那个的三倍大。
（6）比较级 + than + any other + 可数名词单数： “比其他任何都...”
= 比较级 + than + the other + 可数名词复数 = 最高级 + 可数名词单数
The Nile is longer than any other river in the world. 尼罗河比世界上其他任何一条河都长。=The Nile is longer than the other rivers in the world.=The Nile is the longest river in the world.

1. the+最高级 + in/of + 比较范围 ：“在…中最…的”

2. one of the + 最高级+可数名词复数 “最...的之一”
Hangzhou is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. 杭州是世界上最美丽的城市之一。
3. the + 序数词 + 最高级 + 可数名词单数 “第几…的”
Shanghai is the second biggest city in China. 上海是中国第二大城市。
4. 疑问词 + be/动词 + the + 最高级, A, B or C？“ABC中，哪一个最...”
