In Australia, a cattle ranch (大牧场) called Suppleback Downs is only slightly smaller than the state of Rhode Island. Unsurprisingly, it can be hard to keep track of cows in this area. That's where Swagbot, an Australian cowboy robot, comes in. The robot is designed to herd (放牧) cattle on ranches that humans can't easily cover on their own. “Australia has very large cattle stations usually operated by one person,or a couple, for example,”said Salah Sukkarieh,a robotics professor at the University of Sydney.
“One of the biggest issues that one has is animal health,” he said.“So building this type of equipment is really about doing two things: One is to help the farmer with daily operations, and the other is to look at whether we can monitor animal health.”
Swagbot can herd cattle through rugged places, and the researchers plan to fit it with motion sensors (移动探测器) that try to discover if an animal is sick or hurt.
One challenge: Now, the cattle seem to find the robot scary. Researchers have noticed that when dealing with cows they are fine with the robot, but when dealing with cattle, they seem to be scared. Researchers are working on improving the design to help.
Swagbot still needs more development before it can really be used, and then a farmer can tell it to go to a certain location on a ranch, and it can avoid obstacles (障碍) to make it. And it's not likely to fully replace cowboys anytime soon. “The environment is too complex for robots to do all these tasks,” he said. “What I see for now is how such systems can be used as too for the farmer or the cowboy.”
1.What can Swagbot do
A.Follow the farmers on the ranch.
B.Watch over the cows on the ranch.
C.Find good ways to help sick cows.
D.Operate some large cattle stations.
2.What is researchers' challenge
A.How to operate Swagbot on ranches.
B.Whether farmers use Swagbot happily.
C.How to avoid so many obstacles on ranches.
D.How to make cattle on ranches accept Swagbot.
3.What can we learn from the last paragraph
A.Farmers think highly of robots.
B.Robots will take the place of cowboys.
C.Robots need some time to come into use.
D.Robots can solve any problem to finish the tasks.
4.What's the main purpose of the text
A.To show how farmers herd cows.
B.To advertise a robot called Swagbot.
C.To introduce a robot to be used on ranches.
D.To give advice on how to use Swagbot better.

Snapchat, the popular social media app that allows users to share photos, has taken the world by storm since it appeared. Now, the company has done it again with the Snapchat Spectacles — sunglasses that can record short videos.
To begin recording, the user presses a button (按钮) on the left hand corner of the sunglasses. This turns on both the camera and the LED lights on it to tell the people being videotaped. The recording can be downloaded to an Android or iPhone through Bluetooth or Wi Fi at once. And it can be shared with family and friends through the Snapchat app. If a user does not connect to a phone, the footage (连续镜头) remains stored in the sunglasses. Since the camera records the videos in a circle, it can be viewed either in the landscape or portrait mode (肖像模式).
To recharge (再充电) the camera's battery, the user simply places the Snapchat Spectacles back into the bright yellow sunglass case. The one comes with the deal. What's great is that the convenient case can store enough power to charge the sunglasses up to four times, before the case itself needs recharging.
Available in three colors, the Snepchat Spectacles, which were released (发布) on November 10, are priced at $130 USD. While not cheap, they are a bargain when compared to Google Glasses, which cost $1,500 USD.For the past few weeks, the Snapchat Spectacles could only be bought in only a few American cities.
5.How to turn on the camera and the LED lights on the special sunglasses
A.By connecting to Bluetooth or Wi Fi.
B.By opening the footage.
C.By downloading and open the Snapchat.
D.By pressing the button on the left hand corner.
6.The sunglass case can play a part as ________.
