一、教材分析
本单元是《外研社新标准》（三年级起点）第三册的第一个模块第一单元。 本单元的话题是问路，以情景的方式呈现了问路的方法以及几种简单的指路方法，并涉及到问路时的礼貌用语。在一二册中并未涉及过问路的话题，但在三年级上册第八模块第二单元“Where’s the cat ”涉及过对物品位置所在的描述。本单元为第二单元综合运用问路指路能力起铺垫作用。
二、学情分析
学生在三年级上册第八模块第二单元“Where’s the cat ”中学习过对物品位置提问的特殊疑问句，以及方位介词 “in”。在三年级下册第八模块第一单元“It’s on your desk.”中学习过更多的方位介词“in，on, under, behind”。因此本单元涉及到的特殊疑问句“Where’s+place ”以及 “on the left, on the right, behind…”均为学生已经具备的知识。而以指路用语“turn left, turn right, go straight on”为基础，并识别路标、地图等描述路线为学生需要进一步达到的能力。
三、教学目标
1.知识与技能目标：
能理解并能朗读课文；
能听懂、会说并认读重点句型：—Excuse me. Where’s the …, please
—Turn left. / Go straight on. / Turn right.
能听懂、会说并认读重点词汇：go straight on, turn left, turn right
2.能力目标：
能表演课文或进行问路指路情景的角色扮演；
能运用功能句Excuse me, where's the …, please 礼貌地询问路线。
能运用Go straight on./ Turn left./ Turn right.对路线进行简单地描述，为他人指路。
3.情感目标：
培养学生礼貌正确地向他人问路以及助人为乐的情感态度。
四、教学重点、难点
重点：运用功能句Excuse me, where's the …, please 礼貌地询问路线；并运用Go straight on./ Turn left./ Turn right.对路线进行简单地描述，为他人指路。
难点：结合生活中的地图或路标，能根据语境灵活地运用本单元的词汇句型进行问路和指路的交际活动

Step2 Lead in (5min) Activity1 Read the picture Q: Where is Tom Activity2 Watch the video, listen and repeat. 复习on the left，on the right, behind，为新课做 准备。
Step3 Presentation (12min) Activity 1 Listen and answer Q1: What happens to the dog （It’s lost） Activity 2 Listen and answer Q1: What’s the name of the dog Q2: Where does it live Activity 3 Read the picture and answer the question: Where is No.2 Park Street （Present the cards of key phrases and symbols. Activity4 Share the design. 设计分级任务，学生选择分角色朗读课文或表演课文，加深对课文的理解以及重点句子短语的运用。 将地标（supermarket，zoo, school, cinema）分给四位同学，在教室中模拟路线，培养学生识别路标，在实际生活中进行口语交际的能力。 创设一个童话情景：山羊、狮子、老虎从学校放学，各自必须走不同的路线回家。在童趣中培养学生的思维能力和语言能力。
