教学内容 The main content of M1U1 is to talk about weather. After learning unit 1, students will grasp the words of weather, windy, rainy, sunny, snowy, like. And they know how to talk about weather with “What’s the weather like ---It’s...”and know how to use them correctly.
学情分析 The students in grade two have a strong interest in English learning and strong ability to imitate, strong desire to perform. After more than one year of English learning, students have certain basic English skills of listening, speaking, reading, writing and acting.
教学目标 (核心素养) 1.Language skills (1)To enable the students to grasp the following new words after listening, speaking, reading, writing and acting:weather, windy, rainy, sunny, snowy, like. (2)To enable the students to use the main sentence pattern “What’s the weather like ---It’s...” to talk about weather. (3)To enable the students to read the words and sentences with right pronunciation and intonation. 2.Learning ability To encourage the students to communicate and cooperate with others actively. 3.Thinking quality Students are able to develop their observing and creative thinking abilities. 4.Cultural awareness (1)To foster students’ consciousness of good co-operation and proper competition. To develop students’ interest in English and set up self-confidence in language study.
教学重难点 The key points 1.To grasp and use the following words: like, weather, windy, rainy, sunny, snowy. 2.To enable students to understand and use the sentences: “What’s the weather like ---It’s...” to talk about weather.
The difficult points 1.The correct pronunciation of weather. 2.Students can use “What’s the weather like ---It’s... ”to talk about weather, in order to put what they have learned into reality.
