1. 表示“请求”或“许可”,意为“可以”。
例:你能帮我吗?Can you help me
你现在可以看电视。You can watch TV now.
can表示“请求;许可”时,相当于may,但语气没有may严肃。
Can I... 意思是“我可以/能......”。
肯定回答:Yes,you can. / Yes,please./Certainly./Of course./Sure.等。
否定回答:No,you can’t/mustn’t./Sorry,.../I’m afraid not等。
2.“can’t+动词原形”意为“一定不可能”,表示有一种有把握的否定推测。
