What does Alex think of the Rio Carnival
feelings:
He must have enjoyed the Rio Carnival very much, as he was so absorbed in the carnival that he hardly noticed five hours fly by. He called the Carnival a “happy occasion”. He also described his first day in Rio as “amazing”.

Chinese wedding
In traditional Chinese wedding customs, a wedding consisted of the three stages of before-wedding ceremony(婚前礼), in-wedding ceremony(正婚礼), and after-wedding ceremony(婚后礼), all of which originated from Liuli(“六礼”即纳采,问名,纳吉,纳征,请期,亲迎)of the Zhou Dynasty(周代).

Can you contrast the scenes of Rio Carnival and Chinese dragon boat race
Chinese Dragon Boat Race
The beautifully colored dragon boats sat alongside each other on the still water with their crews ready, oars in hand. A large holiday crowd had gathered by the lake to watch the dragon boat race. Silence settled over them as the starter raised his gun. The crack of the gun broke the tension and the crowd exploded into cheers and screams of encouragement. The loud beats of drums were ringing in their ears as the boats sped away across the lake.
Then there was an explosion of …, and the group jumped into action. The band started playing an energetic samba beat, the dancers twisted and turned, and the crowd began to cheer, clap and sing. The whole group started marching down the street. The Carnival current carried us through the ever-growing sea of people, dancing all the way.
