探究一:make作为使役动词的用法
make作使役动词,意为“使;迫使;使变得;使成为”,在表示使(要)某人 (某物) 做什么(怎么样)时,常接复合宾语,构成“make + 宾语 + 宾语补足语”结构。make后面要有一个“宾语”,要求宾语后面带上一个宾语补足语,整个句子才能完整,可以作宾语补足语的有形容词,不带to的动词不定式,名词或介词短语。

2. “make +宾语+动词原形”意为“使某人做某事”,此处的动词原形是省去to的动词不定式做宾语补足语.
【特别提醒】“make + 宾语 + do sth.”结构用在被动语态中时,省略的不定式符号to要还原,即“主语 + be made to do sth. (…...被迫做某事)”。

3. “make +宾语+名词(短语)”意为“让某人(物) …成为…”,
且名词通常是表示官职或头衔的词。

让某人当… 表示头衔的名词前不加冠词。

4. “make +宾语+过去分词宾补”意为“使......被……”,宾语可以是与主语一致的反身代词。该结构有被动含义,但翻译时通常不用被字句。宾语与过去分词之间存在逻辑上的被动关系。
We must make it done in two hours.
我们必须在两个小时内做完这件事。
The teacher raised her voice so that she could make herself heard.老师提高了嗓门,以便别人能听到她的声音。
I spoke slowly to make myself understood.
我说得很慢,以便大家能听懂我的话。

make 做、制造、制作
(1) make sth. (to do sth.) 意为“制造某物”
她会制作风筝。
(2) make sb. sth. / make sth. for sb. 意为“为某人制作某物”。
他的母亲为他缝制了一件漂亮的外衣。
She can make kites.
His mother made him a beautiful coat.
His mother made a beautiful coat for him.
被动语态中常用
be made of / from, be made in, be made by等短语来表示“……是由……制成的”,“……是在……制成的”和“……是被……制成的”
1 纸是木头制成的。 (看不出原材料)
2 桌子是木头制成的。(看得出原材料)
3 这些汽车在长春制造的。(在某地制造)
