一、教学目标
1.能听说读写单词Study,living room,kitchen,bathroom,bedroom
2.能听说读写句子Is she/he/it in the study Yes, it is./No, it isn't.并能够灵活运用词汇和句子与他人进行交流。
3.会正确使用一般疑问句及肯定否定回答。
4.培养学生主动积极与同伴交流与合作的能力。

三、教具准备
单词卡、图画卡、课件、习题纸
四、教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
1.Sing an English song, bingo.
2.Lead into this lesson and write the title .
Step 2 Presentation.
1.Show the pictures and learn new words (study living room, kitchen, bedroom bathroom)
eg.Look at the picture,what can you see Yeah,we can see many books,a computer,a lamp,a desk and a chair in the room. We study here. Yes, it's the study. Study-study-study.(Read together ,then ask them read line by line,make sure they all can pronounce the word correctly.
Where is Tom He is in the study.(Create a situation ,ask and answer questions in order to consolidate the word by using it.)
Learn other words in the same way.
2. Show the word cards and ask the students to read the quickly.
3.Play a game. I describe and you guess.
eg. We sleep in this room.What is it Yes,it's the bedroom.
We usually sit on the sofa and watch TV in this room.What is it Yeah, it's the living room.
4.Match the pictures with the words.
5.Look at the pictures and guess "Where is Amy "
Is she in the …
Yes, she is ./ No, she isn't.
6.Let's chant.
Step 3 Practice
1.Listen to the tape and answer the questions
a. What are they talking about
b. Is it a boy or a girl
2.Read the conversation carefully and answer the questions below.
a. Which cat is the one they are talking about
b. What's she like
c.Where is she
3.Read again and find out the short forms.
4.Discussion. Why is "she" used to refer the cat Is it just because the cat is a girl
5.Follow the tape,pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.
Step4 Consolidation
1.Pair work.
2.Role-play the condensation.
3.Have a show.
4.Finish the exercises in the paper
5.Play a guessing game.
Work in pairs.One hides something and the other guess.
