1. Run it under water.
run v. 使水流在(某物) 之上
e.g. He is running his hands under the tap.

拓展:run 的其他词义:
跑;奔跑 e.g. He is running in the sun. 他正在阳光下奔跑。
管理;经营 e.g. He runs a small restaurant in our town. 他在我们镇上开了一个小餐馆。
行驶 e.g. The No.2 bus is running to the city.
二路公交正驶向城市。
操作;运转 e.g. Can you tell me how to run the machine 你能告诉我如何操作这台机器吗?
2.Someone felt sick.
sick /s k/ adj. 生病的;有病的
e.g. I hate being ill(=sick), and I afraid of seeing sick people looking sick and sad.
我讨厌生病,也害怕看到病人生病悲伤的样子。
拓展:sick 作形容词,还可以表示“恶心的;厌倦的”,不能作定语,只能作表语,常用短语有feel sick(感到恶心) 、be sick of...(厌倦了……) 等。
e.g. He always feels sick on the ship.
他在船上总是感到恶心。
辨析:sick 与ill
sick作“生病的”讲时,可作表语和定语。在句中作表语时be sick=be ill。
ill 作“生病的”讲时,只作表语,不作定语,其比较级和最高级分别为worse,worst。
If you want to ask for sick leave, you must get your teacher’s agreement first.
sick leave 是一个固定短语,意为“病假”,ill 虽然也可以表示“ 生病的”, 但它不能作定语。
3.What happened
happen“发生,碰巧”,是不及物动词。
1) sth. happen十时间/地点,“某地/某时发生了某事”
The story happened in 1999.这个故字发生在1999年。
2) sth. happen to sb. “某人发生了某事(常指不好的事)
A car accident happened to her this morning.
What happened to you 你怎么啦
3) sb.+ happen + to do sth.“某人碰巧做某事”
I happened to meet a friend of mine in the street yesterday.
4) It happens\happened that … “碰巧发生某事”
It happened that Peter was at home that day.

get hit + on/in the+身体部位 表示身体部位受伤
in与软组织搭配,如:face, stomach, eye ; on与硬组织搭配, 如:shoulder, head, back, mouth.
“get+过去分词”是一个比较常用的 结构,在此get用来 代 替助动词be和过去分词连用,构成被动结构,表示某一事件或事故的发生,着重强调动作。

Zhu Keming never thought he would be a hero one day, but he was just that on Saturday when he saved the lives of six runners during the mountain marathon(马拉松) in Baiyin, Gansu Province, in which 21 people lost their lives.
It started off as a normal day for the 49-year-old shepherd, who was taking care of his more than 30 sheep on the mountainside. But soon the weather was terrible, with rainfall and hail(冰雹). The rain got so heavy that he couldn’t see clearly and had to run into a cave where he normally went to have a rest. Soon he fell asleep in the cave after covering himself with some quilts he had stored there.
But he was awakened at 2 p.m. by an unusual sound that was not coming from his sheep. The sound that woke Zhu was the cry of a runner in the marathon. He was wet from head to toe and trembling(颤抖) because of cold. Zhu took him into the cave, lit a fire and covered the stricken runner with his quilts.
Zhu said that there were soon five runners huddling(挤作一团) in the cave, and he then decided to go outside to try to attract the attention of rescuers(救援者). When he risked coming out of the cave, he found another stricken runner lying on the ground in bad condition. Then the other runners came out of the cave to give a hand. Zhu and the six runners remained huddled
around the fire in his cave until 7 p.m., when the rescue team arrived.
“I just did what I had to when I saw that these people were in danger. I think everyone would do the same thing in such a situation,” Zhu said to Beijing News.
